Devon... there's no secret that your teaching techniques have established you as one of the greatest teachers in KZfaq history. Your instructions are concise and straight to the point. The key to being a great teacher is to simplify the explanations for your audience. In the movie "Philadelphia", starring Denzel Washington and Tom Hanks, Denzel's character made a strong statement in the courtroom. He simply said, "Simplify it for me. I don't need a steak. I need a bologna sandwich". The application of that statement is made clear within your explanation of this reverb. Before I go any further, I'd be remiss if I did not say that I have liked and subscribed to all of your videos in order for me not to miss a single video... and I have made sure that I have purchased all of the "Wave" plug-ins needed according to your website, as well as this particular reverb, in order to buy your templates... and whatever other goodies that may be applicable to my own songs on the "Help me Devvon" website. Now, back to my comment. I really enjoyed your explanation of the multiplication process in order to attain the correct amount of seconds to sustain your reverb. This opened up a whole new world of creativity for me, allowing me to explore my own creative processes even further. While I am definitely not an embryo in the world of music production, I have many times had to rely simply on my ears. Because I do have a gift in regards to math, your formula will allow me to do things according to numbers. I consider it gravy... brown gravy.. 40 weight if it was motor oil! Wih that being said, I never knew gravy could be so good on a bologna sandwich. As always, thank you so much for sharing;💪🏿

HMD, you are an asset to society sir I'm getting much closer to a professional sound just from your great tutorials. I would love to be able to purchase templates but I use Cakewalk, do you have anyone who makes templates for Cakewalk I would that be something that I may be able to get involved with? Thanks for all the free jewelry, also do you have anywhere your community can post music and give each other critical feedback?

Can you do a video on how to monitor vocals real time with autotune on with minimal latency is this only possible with the Uad apollo interfaces? that's what a lot of engineers are saying. Thank you in advance good sir.

Be sure the "Low Latency" mode is enabled in your AutoTune Settings menu, and a Buffer Size between 128-256. Hope this helps my man! 🤙🏼

I use monitors to balance stuffs like vocals and bass...but headphones give a false stereo information most times, monitors are better for mixing in stereo stuffs like verbs and other effects
@MyAudioAcademy
@MyAudioAcademy 2 жыл бұрын
My recommendation is to use what you have. As you continue to mix and improve your skills, you'll start to train your ear to hear those things naturally. Monitors in a room that's not acoustically treated, in my experience, is worse than mixing in headphones. Hope this helps! 😎
