Milwaukee Tool unveiled its new battery-powered MX Fuel 70kg Rammer at World of Concrete 2024 in January.
Demonstrated above by Brandon Fredricks, Milwaukee Tool, product marketing manager, the rammer is scheduled for release in July 2024.

It uses 2 HD 12.0 batteries. That'll set you back only $400. Less than half of the annual fuel cost for a traditional rammer, based on doing 2 double car garage pads every week for a year.

Cool thing is it runs off a 12v 1 amp battery or has a converter so you can use 2 AAA’s if you’re in a jam. Just borrow em out of your customers vibrator and then let her borrow your Jack hammer in return once you finish your job.

I typical Jumping Jack compactor has up to an 8" compaction depth due to its weight and jumping action. I doubt this lightweight machine has the same compaction specs.

Only reason I would consider getting anything battery powered from Milwaukee is to avoid having to pay for a mechanic to be constantly maintenance Ing the machinery and equipment because it gets expensive to keep him on payroll and it seems that these particular products to break down all the time. I don’t know how many times I sat there yanking on the starter cord over and over again like an idiot on the plate packer on the demo, saw on the rammer. battery power just seems so much easier and Maintenance free

You will always leave an impression no matter what brand rammer you are using unless you are on the spot for like 5 mins. Your foot is smaller than the tamp by a good margin and he prob belt out weight the rammer by 50+ pounds. Those things are around 140 pounds.

lo malo de esto es que la batería no aguantaría una jornada de trabajo de 8 horas, y no tienes una opción económica... la carga de la bateria puede tardar media jornada, con lo que una recarga en mitad de la jornada no es viable...
