Fantastic to see you finding all these little haunts! Will tell you all about Rancho when I see you, its funny how you got pulled to that….. Thanks for the shout out on the Volcano Hunt, 17th April 2022, we are working on putting together a really good annual event. This year we have 5 cats for bikes, live music, bbq, rock a billy DJs and of course the actual ride, supporting world peace! We are encouraging all riders to fly their naitonality colours, by flag, shirt, or some Form! @@FreddieDobbs Freddie, I had a pair of the original Hood Army Greens in the 2000s. Saved me in a big slide. I wear Resurgence Gear single layer jeans now: 11-second slide time. I wish TCX still sold those boots. I wouldn't buy that jacket. So petrol is cheaper on Tenerife than in mainland Spain. I really understand the appeal of Tenerife, apart from the petrol. 11:14 Monika has it right: a great place for a biker bar. 12:15 the front view of your bike is perfect. That round headlight. Great video. Good soundtrack.

Good to see you having a ride in decent weather. Was out on my Harley in the Yorkshire Dales this week. Definitely did not remove my thermal liner , long sleeve T-shirt or jumper in the 7 c damp weather here.

The Palm Mar was a leisure area of great heyday in the 80s, then it was abandoned. Later they built the current buildings. Freddie, I'm signed up for volcano hunting even though my Honda isn't a classic. I hope to greet you there.

Hi, another magic day out in the sun , making the most of every turn, even if it leads to no where . Stop for food, next door cake with a coffee and off again to new horizons and only a short distance from base camp . Monika does an amazing job, throws in a giggle and of again to pastures new . Yes definitely easy to get lost in this area even when using Google maps. You could have gone to the lighthouse direct from Palm Mar on the bike in 15 minutes off road. El Rancho where you first stopped closed about 8 years now, they used to hold bikers festivals there every 6 months or so.

I really like your jointly produced videos - interesting to see bits of Tenerife tourists probably don’t see. Do the extreme micro climates exist in Gran Canaria as well? We are visiting in 5 weeks for the first time. I’m not a biker, but can feel your enthusiasm.

Really glad you’re enjoying them, Jonathan🙂 I think the micro climates will also exist in GC too. Although in five weeks I think you’ll be into the universally warm weather by then. To give you an idea; When we arrived in September, it was 20 degrees 2.4km high on the roads of Teide. Motorcyclists were riding in shorts and tees at that altitude (2.4km high!) whereas now it’s 1 degree on the same road at that altitude. But where we live on the south coast, it’s been between 19-23 degrees every single day since September and has rained about 12 times. Have an amazing trip!🙂

Looks like the Director and leading man had a difference of opinion ;@). Would have been better riding those trails at the end on a Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro or a Triumph Scrambler to be in keeping with retro :@). Can't have been easy for Monika hanging onto the back of the Bonneville whilst trying to film on those twisty up and down dirt trails. Terrible storms? Have been following the weather for the Canaries the last couple of months and it has been a bit changeable. Still you'll love the UK weather when you get back .............

When riding it’s cool, although you do heat up quickly when off the bike in 24 degree heat. Nog as cool as a riding shirt, but much cooler than leather🙂👌🏻

I was in Tenerife a few weeks a go. What I noticed the most is that everybody seems to be driving a Citroen Berlingo. :D What is the matter with this car?Why does everybody have it? Was it for free a few years ago? I have never seen a place where almost everywhere you are looking there is this car. Haha

I am 63, I have had many cars of all sorts. I currently own a 1.6. Petrol Berlingo. I can truly say its the most practical, smooth riding, utalitarian, tough, reliable car ive owned. I go to skips in it, drive to Europe, carry my mcycle and push bikes, camp in it. The reason is…. If u have one u wont look back and the spanish use their vehicles for just that a vehicle. Not like Uk where people drive Suvs on tarmac, or 250hp cars. I am not ranting just love my berlingo, my daughters love driving it and my mates borrow it. It moves furniture too

Just as MJT mentioned; they love their simple utilitarian vehicles here. You won’t see Range Rovers, but you will see Land Cruisers, no BMW 3 or 5 series, but a lot of Citroen C3s and Berlingos. Spanish, French and Italian vehicles are the cars of choice here (veeeeery few exec Germans and British brands like in the UK)

Thanks Malcolm, I find the Bonneville will happily get me everywhere without any issue at all. And it’s weight is so low down, dimensions compact and seat height so low that it’s incredibly easy and fun to manage off road🙂👌🏻

easy option is don't watch. Freddie has living to make and the promotions are not over done in my opinion. it's part of the show and a small interjection is a small price to pay for what is free content. some people are seriously over entitled...
