Hello friends, I am Sandeep and you are watching my You Tube channel Heavenly journeys and today I bring to you my video on Rudrapur village of Kedarghati near Guptakashi town of Kedarnath. Friends, Rudrapur village lies in the heart of Kedar valley near Guptakashi on the way to Kedarnath ji Dham in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, Bharat. Rudrapur village is a high altitude Himalayan village adjecent to famous Dewar village. Rudrapur village is famous for its magnificent Himalayas views of Chaukhamba, Kedarnath and Sumeru peaks. It is peaceful village and full of natural surroundings. You can easily hear the sounds of birds in morning and evening. The whole Kedar valley or Kedar ghati is very beautiful and underrated valleys of the Himalayas and yet to be explored. There are many such beautiful villages of Kedar valley such as Dewar, Ransi, Triyuginarayan, Chopta, Sari, Ukhimath, Guptkashi, Mandal and Rudrapur which is famous for its Himalayan peaks views and wild life. Rudrapur village is also very near to the famous Kedarnath Wild Life Sanctuary. Rudrapur village nowdays recieves many tourists because of its breathtaking Himalayan beauty along with the Dewar village. Rudrapur village is very near to the famous town of Guptkashi and lies above 7,000 feet above sea level and also recieves snowfall in the winter months. There are so many hotels and homestays in Dewar and Rudrapur village in which you can stay such as Hotel Kedar Grand, Finding Shiva and Snowpod Resort. In this video we started our journey from our hometown Kurukshetra, then reached Haridwar, Rishikesh, Dev Prayag, Augustmuni and then finally reached Rudrapur village via Guptkashi.
