i noticed how one of the biggest things these tarkov competitors have on tarkov, is having an ingame map, not having to pull up the wiki on your phone or on a second monitor just to learn a map is almost as big of a selling point as having competent developers who actually care about their game

I'm ok with how EfT brings map usage but what pisses me off is that not all "maps for maps" (I mean map items) are present. So yeah, it's a second monitor with tarkov wiki on it...

@@alexander_al oh yeah, i forget you can get maps, but even then, just make it a base feature, like your melee and secure container, cuz eventually you can get pretty familiar with these maps (especially smaller ones) so the only people who it trips up is new players, its just a needless hurdle hell even make it a mission, like you get a first mission for each area that sends you to retrieve a map and then you just have it and never lose it

@fobo3361 I dont wanna dis on you and I won't, but tarkov is supposed to be extremely hardcore, not saying tarkov does it better then abi or gzw, but tarkov at its core is an hardcore extraction shooter

@@ghostedghost29 i get that, and i know that exact reason is why they did it the way they did But also does it REALLY make the experience anymore hardcore? Sure its inconvenient and thus makes a portion of the game (learning maps) more challenging, but is inconvenience really the best way to deepen a game and its systems, no matter how extreme of an experience a game is trying to sell, there's always a line where it just becomes pointless, a lack of map is just that, adding it doesn't harm any of the hardcore elements that make tarkov special (why pretty much everyone just pull up the wiki) and a lack of one just comes off as laziness or an attempt at artificial difficulty

@ghostedghost29 It's also supposed to be "realistic". Every dummy could print out a Google earth image before going into what's basically a warzone. You don't have to have a map with exact positioning, but some plans of an area will always be available. BSG is just lazy and uses hardcore as an excuse.

Not used to seeing AI not seeing me first half way across the map at night while I'm in a bush. You can actually look at them and decide where your going to shoot them. Its realistic in that they don't instant see you. Easy compared to Tarkov. But a nice break from those giga chad Ai scavs!

I'm forced to play solo, due to a lack of friends. And as much as I try, I just can't have fun, the long ass wait times for Helis and the sheer insane ninja abilities of the AI and their horrible audio. It's just not fun. Also running into a village that is already slaughtered when you have to kill 20 people and it took you 40 minutes to fucking get there. NO thanks.

Hey I like your "Beginner's Journey". I read you must have a 40 Series GPU for frame generation to work, or maybe they were saying you need a 40 Series for frame generation to work properly??? I haven't heard anyone talking about their 30 Series and how it is or is not working with frame generation?

The game is interesting, just doesn’t really have that “End of the World” feel. Where it’s you by yourself surviving and you can join others if you want to. Instead you got a whole ass mil base to return to. Also not being able to play with Friends who are part of the other factions isn’t all that great.

You're just spreading false information. My 3070 can do frame generation and gets a massive frame increase so if you are claiming only 40 series cards can do that you are just wrong.

A: We’ve noticed that some members of the PC gaming community, like Discord Communities before it, have encountered a bug in an old v1.0.1.0 DLSS DLL that falsely appears to generate frames on 20/30-series hardware. There is no DLSS Frame Generation occurring-just raw duplication of existing frames. Frame counters show a higher FPS, but there is no improvement in smoothness or experience. This can be verified by evaluating the duplicated frames using tools like NVIDIA ICAT, or viewing the error message in the Remix logs indicating an error with frame generation."

Now THIS actually looks promising. Arena Breakout is nothing but lame rip off, but Grayzone is a mix of Planetside 2 and Tarkov. Approve. (kinda hilarious how stoopid BSG management was to shoot itself in a leg and turn everyone against them lol. Dumb move at an inappropriate moment of time)

Great video (almost) for a beginner, except I didn't get to see the downed chopper?? Hey fairTX are you from Texas? I am from Texas, or I grew up there from age 0 to 5 then moved to Illinois for 5 years, then Missouri age 10 to 15 and age 15 moved back to Texas till I joined the U.S. Navy on July 5th. 1961 (I lost my Liberty LOL). RAGE QUIT!! LOL Why did you Quit Rage? It's only PVE, right? Unless you were killed by (not-so) friendly fire?? I can see you editing your video, can you wait a little bit before cutting it?? At 17:00 your looking for the downed chopper, and at 17:12 you said, "There it is." At 17:17 you quit without me seeing the chopper?? Hmm?? So I stopped the video, I even changed my resolution from 720p to 1080p and then from 1080p to 1440p without ever seeing the chopper?? WHAT'S WRONG? I continued the video and I FIGURED it out, The Game CRASHED!! BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME. Do you think it was your GPU that caused the crash?? I have a Alienware laptop, M16 R1with a low end 4070, with only 8 GB video RAM. Also an i9 CPU with 32 GB RAM.

That a super shit game. Starting with technical side and ending with gameplay. I saw like even on 14900 + 4090 the game crashed every match and people made refounds. And i also saw like a streamer was playing whole day and didn't find a single pvp... Its like tarkov new pve mode. Compare to arena breakout this is trash.

Bad game. The way the player carries weapons is primitive and reminds me of games from the year 2000 The aiming method is not good. The developer only focuses on the graphics and neglects the rest. I advise you to play "tom clancy's ghost recon breakpoint " or "The division 2" More advanced and very high graphics
