Why did he move? Wasn’t the smartest thing to keep your flat so you have something to fall back on and keep it on rent

Even if there is no conscious intention to make you both a little less financially secure or physically settled at this time. If you were battling your gut last year, listen to it, as you are in it to see things as they truly are. And in getting over last year, it’s important we don’t settle into a jadedness about the certainty of life in general, as expressed here. That’s a big change in you, for 2024. 💘Please read all I have to say. You see, a solo move on its own merit isn’t enough to be a concern. It’s really just the rationale of moving at all, this close to marriage, but additionally to anywhere that isn’t suitable for both parties. Don’t look away from it. Don’t. The thing is, you decided to rethink going for property purchase at the Best time in the UK to do so. Luckily the economy changed to benefit buyers - and it is now much worse for someone looking to rent. You’re now having to rent for the 1st time, from being in such a lucky previous position. This is all to support keeping your options open, as much as that would‘ve caused understandable distress last year. Despite this, I assure you nobody’s in doubt about how much you’re loved in your relationship.

I can 100% relate to your situation - my fiancée moved to a different province (I’m Canadian) for medical school and I initially moved in with him but had to go back to my parents’ place/city to finish pharmacy school. So now I have half my things there and half here 🥲. Lisbon sounds incredible and I’m wishing you both nothing but happiness and success 🤍🤍 also, your hair looks gorgeous like this!
