Companies faced loses due to this. In USA, Canada people can actually return an iphone upto 30 days and get refund if it is same in India our chappris but new iphone flaunt it for a month and return it. So we don't have return option unless there is a damage on arrival

I think the Indian government should also force Apple to implement side loading or installation of apps with other Stores, and not only limited to Apple's App Store. EU has given them deadline till 2024, to implement side-loadong in iPhones by 2024. India should also do this.

The thing is TESLA is not just about CAR. you can see in US/Canada, TESLA charging network is way way way superior to anyone else. They work, they are more accessible, and way faster, over 350kW, while Indian Govt is installing chargers slowly at just 50kW and calling them fast. even other US/Canada based companies are installing just 50kW chargers and even then they are very less in quantity and some don't even work properly. That is why getting Tesla in India is way more important than just CARS. else if we get stuck to the 50kW infrastructure, we all know how long it takes for India to change the infrastructure. edit: also we get Subsidy on Made in India Solar Panels only, now imagine if Tesla started manufacturing the SUPERIOR solar panels it makes in the west, it will really help India to become more self-sustainable. Tesla might even launch a 2-wheeler for India. When KFC has to make vegetarian menu for India, Tesla will have to make 2 wheelers as well. So it is not just about Cars.

Nah, some dude on youtube changed his old iPhone's charging port just fine. Apple's only problem is that implementing their horrible hardware parity and other circuits in the port that checks for water damage etc, which will take further R&D. Else they'll have to implement basic free USB C daughterboard like everyone one else, which means some 3rd party will make USB C daughterboards for older iPhones at lower price and Apple will lose money that way, again many older customers would demand to have their lightning port replaced from official Apple service centers if the port is made DRM free, which means less customers who would buy new iPhones with USB-C. Government should stand their ground on this action and maybe ask EU to do so as well.

USB type C was not initiated by India. Since all these big companies started cutting conners by not providing changers. The US initiated that mobile phones should have standard port of charging.

I think India is quite hyped about teslas. I mean the nexon ev and xuv400 is good but they are just ICE cars without the engines and instead with electric motors and battery pack. Till now, our indian brands are not able to deliver anything that is born electric. But yeah, dropping the import taxes for just one company also is not a good option.
