We are often so caught up in a rat race to gain worldly pleasures, that we forget the goodness in our lives. We are not grateful for all of Allah’s blessings. Shukur to Allah is so important and can increase Barakah in our lives.

I have gained a new understanding of what BARAKAH Mean. BARAKAH means turning the little of what you have,into enough. Ya ALLAH please guide us into doing good things, so that you can give us BARAKAH, 🤲

Virtues of fasting on Mondays and Thursdays Abu Qatadah al-Ansari narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about fasting on Mondays. He ﷺ said: “On that day I was born, and on it the Revelation came to me.” (Narrated by Muslim, 1162) ‘Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Prophet ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was keen to fast on Mondays and Thursdays. (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 745; al-Nasai, 2361; Ibn Majah, 1739; classed as saheeh by al-Albani in Saheeh al-Targheeb, 1044) Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Deeds are shown (to Allah) on Mondays and Thursdays, and I like my deeds to be shown when I am fasting.” (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 747; classed as saheeh by al-Albani in Saheeh al-Targheeb, 1041)

The Prophet ﷺ said If one of you finishes from the last Tashahud, Then he should seek refuge with Allah from four things: he says: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ، مِنْ عَذَابِ القَبْر، وَمِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ، وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسيحِ الدَّجَّالِ Allaahumma ‘innee a’oothu bika, min ‘adhaabil-qabr, wa min ‘adhaabi Jahannam, wa min fitnatil-Mahyaa wal Mamaat, wa min sharri Fitnatil-Maseehid-Dajjal O Allah, I take refuge in You, From the punishment of the grave, And from the torment of the Fire, And from the trials and tribulations of life and death, And from the evil affliction of Al-Maseeh Ad-Dajjal (Sahih Al Bukhari )
