When I was in my 30s I went camping with my dad at Blue water lake near Gallop NM. One night while fishing after dark a skin walker ran up on me and stopped àbout 30 feet away staring at me, I had the flashlight beam on it and a gun in my other hand. It scared the living hell out of me, glowing red eyes, lots of saliva constantly dripping from a mouth that was open far too wide. To make a long story short... After seeing that thing, I don't doubt Bigfoot at all! Seems like BF would make more sense then a skin walker. Many Navajo people have told me that I'm lucky to be alive. Thank you Jesus for protecting me!!!

I've heard that so close to me I could feel the vibrations. It was so dark I could not see my hand in front of my face and the instant insane fear I felt was unreal. Hubs and I were stuck on the road in the middle of Lake Crescent, WA. due to fallen trees at both ends. WE could see the lights of the workers/first responders.. miles in each direction. And we knew there was ZERO help. We got into our truck and just sat there... in total fear. I will never forget that sound.

I believe you because I'm also in Louisiana right across the Amite River from Baton Rouge. My cousins lived about a quarter of a mile walk through the woods from the river and one evening I was standing outside smoking and heard that same sound ! That's a great big HELL NAW !

There’s a story MrBallen tells of 4 hunters who heard creatures who sounded just like this, outside their cabin. They recorded it. There were several of these cheaters communicating all night in all directions around their cabin. These 4 grown men were terrified. The recording sounds like this one.

Holy Cow! I sing opera and I can tell you right now, I have been around huge voices all my life, that is NOT a human voice! It is also NOT an animal. Whatever that is, it is absolutely HUGE! In order to make a sound that big, in the middle of a densely wooded area like that, that thing is MASSIVE! I've been listening to it over and over for about 10 min now. I think there may be more than one voice in that footage, calling back and forth. That sounds so aggressive, I wouldn't have stayed a minute longer in that area! Something that big could break right into your house. I mean, 9 ft? 10 ft? 11 ft? tall? Perhaps?! BIG! Massive! You wouldn't stand a chance! And you wouldn't be able to kill it with a normal shot. That's WOW! Very impressive sound footage! Holy Moly!

Very real. I live in Alaska in the woods, and one day, I could feel myself being stared at. I went and grabbed a huge stick and tree knocked. It knocked back. I'm hard to scare but went inside and locked the door. Just like bears, they stink and can make one step behind a tree and disappear. They exist. This is a pack family cry communication.

The non believers need to experience this in person. It's so easy to accept they exist. I've had 3 encounters . I saw tracks in Idaho when I was 18. I heard wood knocks behind my house at 3am when I was out smoking a cigarette I don't sleep well. Oh yes sir that's real. Actually pretty damn good capture. What doesn't translate to video for viewers is the way that sound echoes around you and you can feel the reverberations in your chest. It's simultaneously exhilarating and terrifying. The feeling that comes over you in a real close sighting is mixed. You KNOW what you've just seen and you feel extremely intense panic followed immediately by endorphins because you also realize the creature exists and your childhood curiosity is answered.

I admit I'd be pretty scared if I heard that, because he sounds extremely close. But I'd still love to live out in the woods. I figure as long as I keep my doors locked at night, have motion light detectors and a alarm, and a gun I'd be ok. I've never heard of one attacking a house. I was attending a Sundance ceremony in Yellowstone with the shishoni nation. Myself and one other woman woke up early early before sunrise and walked quite a distance to a river. From there we watched the Sun come up and we sang prayer songs in our native Language. We felt like we were being observed. Then big Rock start it to be thrown not near us but into the river just letting the snow they were there. We weren't afraid but we honored them because we knew they were sacred to us. I really felt that they knew we were respecting them and they were respecting us. Other tribal members had gone off in different directions for sunrise prayers and when we all came back for breakfast they were saying and speaking of Bigfoot that they came across in the woods no one had any terrifying experiences everything was in peace

a friend an I hear something very similar during a coyote hunt in 2006 north central Pennsylvania, we were hunting in a valley and whatever was making the noise sounded like a freight train heading straight towards us, needless to say we ran and left our gear behind, all except our rifles

I heard this backpacking the North Country Trail in Michigan, I have to take medication for anxiety attacks now. Scariest shit I've ever experienced. Menominee County Edit: the medication is a gun. I have a gun now. Its great. 12 gauge flash bangs, incendiary 7.62x39, bear mace foggers, drum magazines. Tannerite. A little beat pocket knife as well. Mostly a baseball card collection.

I know it's scarry sounding but these creatures are not aggressive unless you invade their territory really. According to some they can even be friendly or helpful. The native tribes supposedly befriended and traded with them. I'd more wary of wolves, and dogmen personally

Inverness Fla, 1979-81. I lived next the woods, many times id hear this only to be told it was a bobcat. I found footprints and trees bent over in a design kinda. I could smell a nasty wet dog, rotting trash smell alot of nights. Something or someone lightly brushing against my house 3-4 o'clock in the morning.Saw it twice and no one belives me. It was no bobcat or bear .. my neighbors dogs go wild at night. We had lots of berries, fruits, lake mussels and plenty of deer. I would walk the train track that went 10 miles to an old dairy farm which had a tale of a bigfoot being seen there and scaring the cows at night. That whoop, heard it to many times ... Inverness is like more northern and it has alot of caverns.

There isn't an animal alive no matter how elusive once their fabled existence is known of, (the mountain gorilla, and the giant squid at two examples), that Intrepid biologists have not been able to track down and study, at least to some degree in the field. The Sasquatch is the Holy Grail of all Cryptids which surely would put a field biologists/academics name in the history books. The incentive is HUGE! And, none definitive. Considering the number of sightings no matter what media it's recorded on they all seem to smack of hoaxes to me. Scientific study would be possible with such a creature as this. I've spent over a decade hiking _deep_ into the Cascades duing every season recreationally where I live and haven't seen hide nor hair, not one footprint or even one unexplainable happening - odd or strange, yes, but all rationally explained after researching myself or talking to other experieced woodsmen. Does this mean they don't exist? No. But I don't jump to a positive conclusion with only blurry pictures or recordings which can be easily faked. If a good photograph of one is actually taken, then you'll damn well know it.

Same here, me and my brother heard the “whooops” while elk hunting in thick heavy mtn front timber. When we find a cord for his old laptop I’ll load it up, we got the “whooops” about 10-15 times on his camera then loaded to his laptop. Whatever it was we didn’t bother it or try to track and confirm. Those “whooops” though I know was letting us know it was there and moving on because we heard them as it was moving away from us. I heard them first before he came around the trail with his camera and caught the last of it on camera. I could’ve been within 50-100 yards close because it did scare the shit out of me at first, but because it was moving away we stood there and listened man it was scary and exciting. I’ll never forget it.

The one I heard in Hocking Hills, Ohio sounded just like the "Trent recordings " in West Virginia. It was so powerful, yelled twice and all the coyotes and dogs went crazy. Never heard anything so loud in the woods. I was starting fire outside at a cabin around twilight. I daid to my husband "what the hell was that?!!"

Yes, I would be very sad if either one of our daughters was to move away, but its not about me or my husband its about her making a life for herself & if she's married to make a life with her husband together. I want my daughters to be happy & have careers that they enjoy doing even if that's here close to home or in another state. Its her life to live when they are adults not mine or my husband's! The only thing my husband & I can do is to raise our daughters to be responsible, independent Christian women & support them anyway they need us too! Besides neither one of them would ever want to move to California or to the west coast anyway!

I work with sound engineers. That would not be difficult at all for even a novice and free software. Not saying it is fake, just that it would be easy to create an overlay and mix it. And getting easier all the time. Expect to see a rash of hoaxes, both audio and video over the next few years as AI tools improve. It's going to flat out suck.

This gives me the chills. I know we had one living in the Thick Woods where we loved the woods was so thick we didn't go in there and we would here like heavy breathing from it that would go into a scream. I had just get done riding my horse and he started to dance around before I could get his bridle off .All of a sundden I heard something that sounded like semi truck starting up and turned into a scream. It was so loud. Lightening took off . I didn't know if it was in the barn at the pond or on the other side of the barn at the tree line. I flew to the house! I really don't think my feet hit the ground. We heard this through the 60s mainly in the spring.
