Please keep making videos Robin! I will enjoy watching you paint these ships up. I'm still begging for Gruntz videos though ( maybe on free terrain tables besides the tables that you made for shows). : ) I also enjoy your dungeon crawls on those nice boards that you map. This has been my favorite channel since,..How long have you been making these? I have been watching since you were playing Star Grunt and Gruntz was just beginning to be an idea.

@@RottenMechGaming If it goes like most of my FT games it'll wind up needing 30 minutes just to explain what house rules you're using. :)

@@richmcgee434 Sounds fun, do you have those rules documented anywhere? Would like to know how you tweak it. Thanks

Their other ranges are well worth a browse too. The larger fighters in Squadron Commander are very nice, the Hammer's Slammers and other scifi ground combat figs look terrific in both 6mm and 15mm scales, and they have some really excellent terrain in a variety of scales. And of course there's all those lovely aeronefs for Imperial Skies. They've remastered a ton of those ships over the last few years and they just keep getting better and better.

Very nice, I have a long-standing project to have fleet battles in the Traveller setting, using a wild mix of manufacturers, most similar to yours (plus some Irregular).
@RottenMechGaming3 жыл бұрын
Always great to mix and match in some different ranges.

@@RottenMechGaming Yes, and I've found enough proxies across them that if you don't look too closely, they almost match the classic B&W illustrations when they exist for anything (my story - that I'm sticking to - is the illustrations are wartime propaganda with key bits censored!). There's a of freedom with the Zhodani, Solomani etc. that never got any/many illustrations.

Own some of these. The ones you couldn't remember was British. I placed a big order a while back with Brigade. Most of what I ordered was simply for collectable reasons. But a small portion has actually seen action, indirectly. I went to the trouble and expense to re-cast these in resin, I hate metal.

I have another video coming soon on this set. I have nearly finished painting everything here and have all the video footage to edit and upload soon. There will hopefully be some inspiration.

For the clear bases you were thinking of getting, take a look at the Litko ones (from Gaming Enhancements in the UK) - they have holes already drilled which you could fit the magnets into. www.gamingenhancements.com/air-1 Gah! Got a bit further on in the vid and you showed the Litko bases!
