It's not a bird It's a dinosaur, a Deinonychus from the mesozoic era It's the only creature in feather family that's not a bird

There dialogue also changes if you play as any of the extinct birds but it's just explaining what they ressurected and how they feel about the modern

@@SuperFatDuck257bon I became a skeleton and go to the penguin in lab and then when I talk to mr penguin it said “I always have you in my mind…I hope you are doing well.” And when I talk to jr penguin it said something I don’t remember

I love how the Deinonychus model and animations looked! Unfortunately, I don't have enough feathers to buy it, but I'm planning to get some soon! :D Also the adult call sounded like someone burped on the microphone and said, "Yup, this should be the sound for the Deinonychus" lol.

The traditional definition of a 'bird' is a feathered, warm blooded bipedal creature with wings, which *usually* are able to fly. Dromaeosaurids, which includes Microraptors and Deinonychus, while not in the Aves (Bird) class, can therefore still be considered birds

deinonychus was warm blooded as well as dromaeosaurus and microraptor deinonychus is a species of "raptor" it is because it had feathers for display and keeping them warm and their chicks and sometimes egg stealing they are not bird but dromaeosaurus got debate of a bird or dino

No, they *can't* be considered birds. They are related to birds. They are as much birds as humans are apes. They are just birds' ancestors, hence why all the birds are dinosaurs but not all dinosaurs are birds.

@@cool_dude69833You know, some idiots decades ago argued with Darwin the same thing. They literally accused him of the same thing You accuse me now. Sorry, but You are extremely wrong. You have problems with reading with comprehension. I never said humans are apes, but welp. Dromaeosaurids are not birds in of Your fantastic ways. They are related to birds and that's as far as it goes. Calling them birds is same as calling people apes, which I literally used as an example to show that these are two different things.

Everything has proceeded as I have foreseen. I knew long before the start of the event, both microraptor and deinonychus will be added to the game. I knew that from the info ShinyGriffin herself told me. I was just curious at that time and asked her privately by e-mail if she ever consider these two. Coincidentally, she actually did and exactly these two dinos. She explained that microraptor has a popular demand and that she also considers adding deinonychus as its discovery was important to link dinosaurs to modern birds, if she was gonna make a Summer of Fossils. Yes. She didn't yet decided that she will be doing it. But she did. Still she didn't say that she will make these two for sure, but when the skeleton in the ice became deinonychus skeleton, it was obvious that this dino will be added. Microraptor was still high possibility, but nothing confirmed. But when the hint dropped, it was obvious who'd it be. Four feathered wings and "is it even a bird?" was just straight up "IT'S A MICRORAPTOR!". After microraptor dropped I was confused for a moment, why it's called Dromaeosaur. I though it's a species "droameosaurus", but no. The update page said "Dromaeosaur (Microraptor)". That was that time, when I understood that she is gonna pull the best thing ever. Buy one, get second for free. 3000 for two dinosaurs is just a steal. Microraptor alone is worth more than skeleton. Skeleton is just a bird without a body. Microraptor is a dinosaur, one of the best that ever existed. Before the two dinos were added, I was wondering if I will have them as my faves. I expected them to be on archeopteryx tier. And they are. My top1 is cockatrice, but I can't decide second place, but I just give it to ex aequo archeopteryx, microraptor and deinonychus. The fith place comes to my pelagornis.

Your thought of dromeosaurs being a specie name is not wrong because there is a dino from the same family called Dromeosaurus albertensis

@@universogamer5220Yes, that's what I was referring to. I was confused, because usually we have species name as the "bird". And dromaeosaurus was actually possible one to be added. But then I noticed it says "microraptor" in brackets. That was also hint that deinonychus and microraptor would be same "bird". Which is actually total win. Two amazing dinosaurs that are closely related to birds in a price of one. I know 3000 is not small sum, but it's definitely worth something like that.

To be honest the deinocheirus in a little inaccurate. It needs to be as big as a decent sized tree, and the beak was yellow and the body was blue or grey. Who agrees? 👇
