Every week, our resident “plant doctor” Hilton Carter, takes us behind the scenes into his own home jungle to answer questions about plant care and tips. But we thought it could be fun to, er, grow the series: sending him into real homes where the plants aren’t always quite so healthy. That's why we’re launching House Calls with the Plant Doctor.
In this week's episode, Hilton helps Susan with her Bird of Paradise named Rhianna. He walks Susan through the test to see if Rhianna is getting enough water and how to know when it's time to repot.
