A Bird Story was developed by Ken Gao and is totally void of dialogue. To preserve the original message and feel of the game I chose not to commentate while completing the game. I hope you enjoy the story.

If someone sees this, fyi, you can watch it at 2x speed and it doesnt take anything away from the experience, only the music becomes less 8bit retro ish and sounds regular, so its a + or a - depending on your taste.

You know, I would probably find this very beautiful, if I knew what the frick it was about ._. Is it poetry? Is it about the bird? Is it about whoever the fruit that guy is that got the bird? Honestly... I am too much of an arse hole to figure out what this is supposed to leave on me... (Now, however, if it's supposed to give that vibe you get in a game like Esther, then I would understand. Not trying to do any sort of fan thing with comparisons or anything, just saying: If it's meant to give that explorative feeling, and the whole emotional sentiment feeling, then I guess I get it.)

+GodOfTheeGames Its supposed to be a sorta prequel to the sequel of To The Moon. Apparently it will make more sense once thats out.

+Gaming Powerz so your saying its a prequel to the sequel coming soon?

I agree. I loved the To The Moon story-- that was a masterpiece. But this story isn't really as good. To me, it's about a boy (or man? Who knows.) who saved an injured bird, kept it, formed a relationship with it, and for some reason the vet was forcibly trying to take it away from him. After a bird takes off the guy's bird, it learns to fly and whatnot, and now he has to let go of the bird. (Not sure if the bird is leaving forever, or just found a new home, and will visit the guy.) Anyway, yeah, this story was kind of hard to get into.

Is Faye that bird or something...?

Yes

I believe Faye is both the birds replacement and a continuity of the friendship the bird gave him. So, Faye is the bird but also not the bird.

The bird was a real part of Colin's life, but when it left Colin became the lonely kid he had been before the bird. So he came up with 'Faye', a coping mechanism, who was his mind's interpretation of the bird in human form.
