Decimalisation in the UK was 15.2.1971. I remember it well as I was an National Insurance inspector at that time and had to work out the NI stamp arrears pre that date and convert to decimal to add to arrears due after that date, and there were no calculators then! How would they manage nowadays?! Oh, and Steven, how could you not know Freddie (Parrot Face) Davies- you’re not that young and he is still around?!

Nice memorabilia, Lonnie Donegan was a British Skiffle singer who done songs like "Rock Island Line", "Cumberland Gap", "Gamblin Man", "Does Your Chewing Gum Lose Its Flavour (On The Bed Post Overnight)", "My Old Man's a Dustman", "Michael Row The Boat", etc, etc. Lots of history in those booklets, lots of interesting adds as well. @@TinWhistleTV I completely agree Tin, he took a cap that was sent for Stephen from Jay in USA, he was made aware that it was for Stephen but he still has it. I don't know why he has to involve himself anyway, he chose for the KZfaqrs to have their post sent to his arcade, he gets a load of free publicity, surely that should be enough.
@TinWhistleTVАй бұрын
@@moonagedaydream4489 I agree he gets a lot of free publicity, he should be happy with that as he profits from the sales of the free publicity. I am aware their are other youtubers whom are choosing not to have their stuff sent to his premises, and I wouldnt be surprised it is as a result of him taking this liberty and exposing himself when he lifts his top claiming his god's gift crap.

This is what my Auntie Susan said about The Queens Theatre........If you google it, it was Queen’s then Feldman’s then renamed Queen’s again; it was somewhere in the area where the Houndshill Shopping Centre is now. I thought it was on Coronation St, Uncle David thinks it was nearer to Central Drive at the back of the old central station. Online it puts it as being on Bank Hey St which is at the back of the Tower, but lots of roads were altered when the station was demolished and also when the shopping centre was built such as Adelaide St, which still goes down to the prom but now seems to have a chunk missing out of it where the one way system goes through!
