I just built a new upright refactory forge that’s similar size to the one you’re building. Have you thought about using a ribbon burner on it?

Cool. Actually I’m building two. The other one will be a ribbon burner. 😁

Thanks! Yeah I started over 30 years ago in an 8 x15 garage shed. I later built a 12 x 24. I built this shop about 16 years ago and I’m out of room again. 😂

That’s a nice setup! I’m with you about never being the right setup, I’ve changed everything around so many times. I told my better half the next shop will be a minimum of 40x60, she said that’s bigger than our house. I said what’s the problem 🤣

Nice shop! I liked seeing your tapping tool in your folder knife area. Simple and smart. My shop is 16x18 and functional but I dream of the days of when I’ll have more space.

Thank you my friend. It was born out of necessity. 😂. Yeah we never feel like we have enough room! I’m going to add on to mine for my coal forge setup. Tired of dragging it in and out.

As always Tony- good video- love the walk thru- thank for letting us peer over your shoulder yet again into your world. Havent commented in a bit- hope all is well. Bravo as always my dude- simply neat. Still diggin the milk-jug mallets- reminds me of my dads "no-mar" whackum stick...

You’re welcome. No he was a pipe welder and a blacksmith. He made a few knives but it wasn’t his focus. He did a lot of ornamental iron like gates, fences and stair rails including tools. He taught me tons about the crafts.

Oh yes it gets very cold and with high humidity it’s bad when it t freezes. I’ve worked in North Dakota in minus 20 and it wasn’t like it is here at 5 degrees and 85 percent humidity. Chilly! 😁

@TonySeverioKnives
@TonySeverioKnives 9 ай бұрын
@RainyDayForge -20 is cold but when we are at -5 with a wind chill it’s pretty bone chilling. The humidity is the killer for me. It’s like the heat. 105 in phoenix is not compared to 105 with 90 percent humidity. But I don’t care for the snow so I stay right where I am. Lol. The ice in the winter is what hurts us. Everything freezes and tears down, loose power it’s nuts. The snow is beautiful but after about 10 minutes I’m ready for no snow. 😂😂
