I think out of all the rescues you’ve done over the years, this one broke my heart the most - the image of poor Jordan on that crisp packet, clinging to it like a life raft - his only protection against the cold wet concrete😔 I cried so much seeing it for the first time - I’m so happy he’s been living his best life after such a heartbreaking start. I revisit Jordan's rescue video every now & then. This is the rescue that really impacted me years ago - inspiring me to become a monthly supporter. If not for Hope For Paws, Jordan's story would not have ended well. I love HFP! 💞🐾 It's the BEST thing I spend money on each month....rescuing precious souls.

Jordan is truly a wonder dog. We don't deserve to claim them as property. They are beings and I am so thankful Eldad saved him and he was so resilient and found an amazing forever home. thank you Lisa and the vet peeps for all their help in his recovery.

This was a particularly difficult video to watch, and I find it hard to express the piercing sorrow I felt when I saw this pitiful creature resting on a dry something which provided some kind of relief from the water soaking him. A human creature capable of such a heinous act, HAS to be found, because that kind of monster is obviously a danger to every creature around him. He hates himself, and the world. I hope he gets put away somewhere forever. Kisses, hugs, and love to Jordan!

His leg gets cut off, he gets thrown in a river, he has surgery, and he’s not afraid to get back into water and drags his foster sister in with him!! 💕💕💕💕💕

I've been watching Jordan's story again, & indulging in my usual bout of tears. I wish that I had Jordan's courage & zest for life; they are ALL good animals who deserve love, respect & care. I can only assume that the person who brutalised Jordan was mentally ill & suffering terribly himself; but that's no excuse! Education & supervised Community Service might help. Thanks Eldad & Hope for Paws for devoting your lives to critters out there, for being their voice.

I saw this amazing video probably 9 years ago and have watched it so many times since. To me, its the epitome of animal suffering but then getting rescued. Seeing that boy sitting in the middle of that crap canal LA calls a river on that piece of cardboard or whatever broke my heart then and still does. I remember watching this back 6 years ago and I felt really sorry for Jordan Even today still I’m happy he is still healthy with a loving family all these Years later. ❤️❤️❤️

When I was a young man I worked for a State Park. One weekend I was doing my routine inspection and came across a small kitten with fur all matted, covered with fleas, and starving. I picked him up, put him in a box in the back of my truck and started calling around to find a local animal shelter. It was a Sunday, so it was hard to find one opened. I finally got a hold of a vet and they said they would take him and put him down. on Monday. I couldn't do it. There was this small and fragile animal sitting in this box so scared, so alone, so helpless. Instead I went to the store. I bought him some cat food and some milk. He feverishly ate everything. After that he hopped out of the box and curled up on my lap and fell asleep. I brought him home, gave him a bath, shaved him (only way to get the matted fur fixed) got him his shots and a collar with a name tag. Rosco. I am not a cat person, I never thought in my life I would have a house cat. But at that moment I couldn't think of anything else to do. When I see videos like this, it only makes me angry. How could anyone do something like this to something so small and fragile? You are a fucking monster if you ever have a thought about doing something like this.

I’ve gotta say I’ve watched a lot of these videos this one hit the heart different. Shows when we think we’re totally broken physically and mentally we can recover. This little guy was on deaths door God bless these people that do the lords work. Just shows how we can recover from the worst conditions.
