Looking at this without seeing the name on the blade, I wouldn't have guessed this was Reate. Seems like a trend for some premium makers to dip into the lower cost market. My experience with this is that they bring a lot of quality with the more affordable materials. I am here for it!

Most of my heavy use outdoor knives sport blue scales, my old eyes can see them if I happen to lay it down. This Reate looks like it may be in my future. Thank you Bluminati for a great look at this knife!

Do you like pivot locks? I heard some Anklyos were having issues but the mechanism might be different (I haven’t watched disassemblies of either). The blue matches everything for you and the Dojo. Thanks for the look, Bluminati🥷

I don't have much experience with them, and like you I haven't torn one down or watched any videos of it, but I do like the ability to keep fingers out of the blade path. Also yes it's definitely Dojo friendly in colors! 🥷🏽🤙🏽

I feel ya bro, only way I'm checking anything out is via pass around, had to make repairs to my car so I could keep getting to work, wasn't cheap and it still needs more...so definitely know about no knife budget, hope you get squared away on your end hermano! 🥷🏽💙
