Fun Fact: there is and maybe still is a bug in the Geckoes pack that makes the Geckoes behave more like humans, at least the ones you hatch because they talk with Preston Garvey from time to time and the subtitles are the same one when Garvey receives recognition from the Minutemen.

The Lamprey floaters travel in packs from 3 to 10 and sometimes more, their attacks to a lot of damage to a lone player but are easy to kill, it's fun to watch 10 of them fight a glowing Deathclaw in the glowing sea

The Y-17 Trauma Harness is another overlooked creature mod. It's used as part of the New Vegas Mega Uniques mod, and is a good spooky time

Been turning FO4 into a more Metro like game so having new monsters to encounter while being out and about is going to be cool

I may add some of these. Al Chestbreach has covered all of them but he'll play anything, was waiting for a slightly more serious mod review of several of these.

after watching this i have to say thank you to you for bringing them to our attention & thank you to the mod creators for bringing these additions to life. I'm pretty sure that i will download & use all of these, regarding you saying that the waters are not utilised i have to totally agree, there is a lot of water in FO 4 but there is absolutely nothing in them, how bizzar is that, i do hope that the modders create more aquatic creatures, i mean there is even marine power armour & a harpoon, so i want to see some under water quests with under water caves & aquatic life to accompany it all, after all its just another dungeon. loving all these creatures Dan, there bloody brilliant arnt they & it's great to see some of the original concept art come to life, the only one I have not seen are the tunnelers who if you follow the lore should pretty much well of infested most of the America's, but I'm glad they haven't as they are a pain when in numbers, you would also think that there would be more farral ghouls due to the high population before the bombs dropped, you know a few hurds to keep us on our toes. Nice Mod bundle saw that the creature category in Fallout 4 nexus mods. It's nice to see that you brought some good recommendations and brief overview. As for suggestion for Mod bundles how about lore friendly and classic fallout mods from weapons, armor, creatures, and radiation system?

My lore hypothesis as to why we haven't seen spiders in the games is relatively simple. All spiders except for burrowing spiders were annihilated immediately during the Great War. The rest of the spiders then had to deal with one (or more) of the following scenarios: 1. They starved from lack of food due to their former prey having grown to much larger sizes. 2. They were hunted to extinction by their former prey, for the same reason stated previously. 3. They are actually still around and have reached enormous sizes like their prey have, and now hunt large animals such as radstags, brahmin, and perhaps even more dangerous creatures such as humans or deathclaws, and the only reason they have not been found is due to their burrowing/trapdoor lifestyle. My game design hypothesis is even more simple. GIANT SPIDERS ARE FUCKING SCARY.

"where are the spiders" is a question i've ALWAYS asked myself for these games... we've had scorpions since the very start, and we've gotten Ticks in 76, but why has the *main* arachnid been left out?

That's a shame i found your channel now and not when you started, because you make awesome videos. If you ever wondered why there's no spiders in fallout is because when spiders are effected with radiation their webs are messed up and they usually end up starving to death so in fallout it's probable that they're extinct except for non web spinning spiders

The "Frozen Valley" mod adds a Sasquatch too.

This is the toughest category to mod which sucks because skyrim is Pandora's box of amazing creature mods

I have a suggestion for packs: Power armors from other fallout games. You can include the T-65, Ultracite, Midwestern, Prototype Medic and Tribal power armors. Just to name a few

Abominations was a mod I played yeeears ago, still think it’s one of the best you can get.

I recommend against using Lamprey Floaters or Famished. Floaters are floating gamma guns and spawn in packs in downtown Boston. Not only are they extremely annoying to fight, but the legendary ones don't drop legendary gear. This assumes they haven't fixed the mod. Famished are as tough as deathclaws and the last thing I need is a Deathclaw-tough critter spawning right next to Abernathy Farms when I am level 5. Which happens. They are cool looking but just not worth the trouble.

Don't get me wrong I'm fine with not having to deal with big mutated spiders, but it's still kinda weird that they're absent

I've always thought the Geckos from Fallout New vegas were super cute, It was honestly half the reason why I'd always pick up the Animal Friend perk, It was kinda fun just hanging out with the geckos and just seeing what they do.

I recently returned to a modded survival play through after a long hiatus from fallout 4. Totally having forgot what mods were installed, the lamprey floaters really put the shits up me when a squad of em flew out of a tiny shed and obliterated me 😂😂

You finally sold me on the Mantises. Gonna install that one now. I tried the Nightstrikers before but I remember not liking it. I think I encountered them far too often and sometimes they seemed to be bugged out. Might try it again at some point. The Famished looks really cool too.

There is Kudemborots of the commonwealth, Dreadsharks of the commonwealth and Kobolds of the Commonwealth in bethesda mods In games title screen mods.

The issue is that scorpions and other creatures take over what a would be rad spider’s niche. On top of that rad scorpions already able to ambush prey without a den meaning spiders are completely pointless in the ecosystem.

I had a mod forgot what it's called but basically it makes ghouls harder to kill. But it comes with a holo tape to change the settings like you could choose to have kill the ghouls by headshot only and how much ghouls are on screen at once! Oh and you can set the chances of ghouls spawning,how strong they are, how fast/slow they run or walk, and how much EXP you can get from 0 to 100 EXP Points I think? Look it up cx

Spiders are super susceptible to radiation it stops them from spinning webs you can find something about it in the classic games

Well here's a little thing. The reason spiders aren't in fallout is because radiation causes them to not build there webs right and when webs aren't built right they can't catch food so that's kinda why.

I have the Geckos mod, the pet one, Geck, lives with the settlers at Sanctuary.. it is an awesome mod. The famished looks tempting to have. I really want settlement Yao Guais though, as part of the security.. along with the random scavenger roaming with their pet Yao Guai, Fallout 2 style. A companion/pet one would be fun too, especially for RPing a hunter character
