This was never intended to blend local and Byzantine styles. This is Byzantine church through and through- they used wood out of affordability

Absolutely gorgeous. And I'm from South Carolina only about an hour from Greenville SC I would love to visit this place. I was born Protestant but feel like I'm on a path to Orthodoxy. I've been interested in it for the past 4 years or so. The only reason I haven't walked that path yet is the fact that Im not that close to any Orthodox churches. I have to drive 38 or 40 min to Columbia or 45min to an hour to Greenville. And my little home town is all Protestant
