On the way to a "Nasty Cats" concert, the Cat Balloon springs a leak and our heroes crash land in the forest. Cleo proves herself to be a better outdoors-cat than Riff Raff, which drives him nuts!

The Nasty Cats' rock music at 1:34 - 1:53 is also the same music the rock band the Copacetics played in the Littles episode "A Little Rock and Roll." And yes, I know DiC produced both shows and Shuki Levy did the music for both of them as well.

Such a classic cartoon. This show was much better than Heathcliff in every way. Cleo is a really cute character and willing to handle herself like other female anthro characters like Sally Acorn.

No wonder there are furry lovers considering how they got away with these characters as you had her, Minerva Mink, Bimbette Skunk/Julie Bruin/Marget Mallard on Tiny Toons, Lily on Dumbo's Circus, Selina Kyle as a literal cat-woman in the Tyger Tyger episode of Batman TAS (remember that episode where she was turned into an actual cat-woman?), Felicia in Darkstalkers, Lola Bunny, Goldie Pheasant in Rock a Doodle, Angel in Rock and Rule, M'ress on Star Trek the animated series, that 3 breasted stripper cat alien chick in Star Trek V, Callie and the Swat Kats ladies, some of the Talespin ladies, Colleen on Road Rovers, Gadget Hackwrench, Mirage on Aladdin the series, Mona Lisa the lizard girl in the original Turtles show, Miss Kitty Mouse the dancer in Great Mouse Detective, Kit Mambo and the Animalympics girls, Jenny on Bucky O'Hare, Shuana Sassi in Nightbreed, Sally Acorn, Aishia Clan Clan on Outlaw Star, Bagi from Tezuka's Bagi Monster of Mighty Nature and Cheetara/Pumarya on Thundercats were all kinds of hot, LMAO.

Very late response from my part. I suppose you ask because of Cleo, she looks very animeish. My take is that this cartoon was animated overseas, with some cartoons made in Japan.

Soko After some reading, I also learned that the guy who designed her is the same one who created Inspector Gadget. There is some little similarities in the style (compare Cleo expressions to Penny's).

ugh, with the rewind and ff feature that you tediously had to wait on... and of course you would always go too far in either direction so you would inevitably have to ff, rw and ff again just to get to the exact beginning of a song. kill me.
