I love this case. I think the best set up is 2x 140 high flow fans on the bottom (intake), no mesh on the front (to keep the intake air flowing upwards), 280 AIO or 2x 140mm (exhaust) on top and 120mm in the back intake (I think you might want to find the highest flow fan you can). Then an SFX psu and you should be able to fit most GPUs fine. This set up would definitely focus on GPU heavy workflows but I think a good 280 AIO can handle a 220-250w load good enough and if it doesn't the screen will tell you real quick 😂

Hi Jordan, thanks for the elaborate review. Actually doing a demo build put everything into perspective, thanks for the additional effort. Anyhow, I need your input here. I'm doing a high-end build in this thing, because D41 just fits well with the limited space I have at hand. I7 14700K, 4080 (SUPER Presumably), 360 AIO (Liquid Freezer II. Basically I'm a bit lost on how I can maximize cooling. I'm definitely removing the HDD/SSD bracket, fitting in a 140MM PSU leaving room for the front and bottom fans. What should I do for intake and exhaust? My initial thought was intake front via PSU and the additional fan (I don't think the PSU will run hot). Intake via 360 AIO on top and then exhaust in bottom + exhaust on rear 120mm fan? What do you think?
@jordanash
@jordanash 5 ай бұрын
You're welcome. I'd definitely go intake on the bottom and exhaust on the AIO out the roof, there's no need to fight the heat rising. Otherwise sounds good.

It's like I mentioned in the conclusion really, it depends what size, psu and GPU you want to use.

Tempted for this case. One thing though, is it possible to move the power button and usb to the top left of the bottom front panel? I saw screws for the power button block but could not see any holes on the left side.

Dang it! If i didnt already own a Corsair 5000D case i would have gotten one of these. I love that screen idea at the front of the case mainly because it gives you great information on temp etc. I have a little iCUE Nexus from Corsair and its a wonderful devices but...... it has a tiny thin screen 😅

I bought this exact case in black a few months back. I can say this about it. Is it a nice case? Hell yes. Was it worth the money? Yes. Would I build another pc using this case in the future? Hell no. It was such a bitch to get everything in there. Now this might be because this was my first build experience but it felt like there was no room in the back for cable management at all and the power supply placement is kinda weird but it works. Downside is though that adding anything to a fully modular power supply would be a bitch to do. If you’re experienced in pc building, I’d say get it. If not, don’t kill yourself with it.

Thanks for the Video! But how is the build quality? Specially compared to the asus ap 201
@jordanash

They're both very light but even so they're very solid. I have a build with the AP201 on the channel FYI
@f4kkAa
@f4kkAa 5 ай бұрын
@@jordanash ty! But which case would you consider better, just in terms of build quality? I've read that the AP 201 has thicker steel with 0.85mm vs 0.6mm. And as far as i know the ap 201 does not have plastic clips like the Jonsbo. I want a atx MB so i would prefer the d41 but i also want a stable case. Just scared that smtg on the jonsbo will break

To be honest I don't think you need to worry about it being "stable", cases are made well nowadays.

Could have used a SFF PSU, also lose the front fan and use intake fans on the bottom, you have plenty of room there. Came out pretty clean though.
@jordanash

This was just a quick system more for the screen demo, loads of options if you want to do different things. I might revisit this with an actual build, especially as there are shorter ATX PSUs available.

Yes, but as its in the case with the other components, it will recirculate the hot air. Doesn't make that much difference to temps though, was just a thought

The fan on the back of the psu is the EXHAUST fan. Makes no difference which way you have it mounted as it draws in air from the inside of the case no matter what. How do these tech reviewers not know this???
@jordanash
@jordanash 4 ай бұрын
The main fan on a PSU is always an intake as it cools the components directly underneath the goes out the back passively. In this case, the PSU is inside the case meaning the hot air that comes out the *back* goes straight back into the case. I don't think you understood what I meant.
