Farmington Hills, MI - Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum is home to an extensive collection of arcade games, coin-operated machines, magic posters, and a never-ending list of oddities. Marvin Yagoda started his career as a pharmacist in Detroit, and coin-op machines were just a hobby. The collection grew into the world-famous museum it is today.

Y'know, it's funny. Most people came from Tally Hall, and technically I did too? But only because finding their album made me nostalgic for actually going here as a kid. I had that exact sort of experience mentioned at 1:37. My grandparents brought me to visit here when I was eleven or twelve, and of course, I was more invested in the arcade itself, and ticket prizes, but it was still such an enchanting place. I always wanted to visit any time we were up in Farmington Hills. And it's been a good while, but I'd love to go back.

Yep. Marvin himself even gave a tour, for the band's youtube channel webshow thing. Unfortunately, Marvin himself passed, but his marvelous mechanical museum still stands.

He is mentioned as "Resident Marvin" in "Inside the mind of simon" (Scrapped song) And as "Marvin" in "Taken for a ride" Bungo Vachungo is also mentioned in "Banana Man"

My boyfriend took me here for Valentine’s Day and it was AWESOME!!! I loved it so much! I know they are moving sometime in the near future and I hope to visit again at the new location 😎

@@cappyjones hey! We were there for couple hours, but we didn’t play many of the games where you win tickets to turn in for prizes. So I would plan at least an hour and a half just to spend looking at all the curiosities and whatnot and then after that however much time you want to spend playing the games/winning tickets. Have fun!!
