A challenging arrival through the Cairngorms to the Woods Caravan Park Clackmannanshire

We travel from Tarland by Deeside to the Woods Caravan Park Clackmannanshire via the Cairngorms not the wisest decision.

Certainly a squeeky bum route, but scenery was lovely, Avtec tourer is not always perfect but a lot better than a car sat nav or Google maps, glad you got there safely 👍

TYFW Guys! Yes this journey nearly broke us as the car lol. We certainly will be more thorough checking and double checking our route when next we are back that way! Glad you had a great visit . At the campsite. Where my parents ran for around 10 years . Late 80s . My parents are Brian and Margaret Wood .

I'd still have loved to have heard you!😂🤣 We use the Avtex Tourer Two but I always cross reference any directions for the site we are going to and always follow what they recommend regardless.

I have had journeys on very narrow lanes when I've gor lost and had too really on satnav. but never that steep. xx

Nightmare but I'm sure most of us have been there, I use or used the co pilot app but that has recently took us down some very narrow roads and last trip out over a tiny narrow bridge that I barely squeezed through, I was in a lather lol, so have now downloaded road lords and put the settings as if I'm driving a 40 ton artic, have put in a few routes including the last one and each time it's been spot on, even down to going the same way the caravan sites recommend, it's also free but if you want to download the maps for offline use there is a charge (subscription but not much) I've not subbed yet as I'm still on the 30day free trail before I sub 👍👍

What setting did you have your sat nav on …fastest/eco etc You’ve learned now don’t rely on it 😂😂 I always check route on Google maps and only use sat nav as a rough guide
