how do you deal with rage? I play this in bgs with Sunder Soul and Fireball on vanilla Maelstrom Procs since the synergy is good. But I am genuinely struggling to build enough rage to have Cleave and Fel Blade on cooldown.

I highly reccomend doing one of the dungeon boss trails (Boss Blitz, Pair in a Lair, Holy Trinity). Maybe you could do it with some of the other Ascension tubers or even some of the Ascension Staff. As always, love the vids

Whenever they add in REs like Jadefire corruption. I really wish that they'd give it more broad interaction capacity. Like instead of "Interacts with X, Y, & Z", if they just made it categorical like "Interacts with direct fire damage spells". It'd open up way more uses for it. Even if they needed to reign that in a bit and be like "Warlock or Mage direct fire damage spells".

If you are worried about your content output maybe consider interviews with the CoA dev team. Talk about design goals and design philosophies and their process. That way your output doesn't slow down as much while you are busy with development and we could get some ideas of how CoA is going to look and feel. I believe good communication between devs and players is important, espcially in MMOs.

i been running agi, hellish pursuit, sunder soul, with lava burst mainly in pvp and it is absolutely insane to play. critting people for 2800 with cleave cause thats truly the bread winner and the burst is huge. how ever. dj on area 52 is running it full int and he almost doubles my dmg with just cleave/blade/chaos bolt. so i been tweaking things around to try and match it. the agi version is so farm my absolute favorite and it slaps

I've said this before but it may not be a well known enough game for others to know what I am referencing when I say this. FFXI ( Final Fantasy 11) got it right when they decided to go the opposite route and stick with small numbers and small incremental increase of stats, so it made every thing feel like it mattered from a +3 to int down to the food buffs of like +5 attack power and the % based increases, which also lended help to professions actually mattering which is sorely lacking in almost every MMO now.

Trial modes sound super interesting, showing off how difficult some of them are. It would also be interesting to see you go back to older builds, or maybe set your own challenges like finding the perfect build for gathering or something silly like that :P

Raider's Comm's Pre-TBC was still like a piece every 2ish maybe 3 raids. It feels even worse now. I've ran Karazhan Twice, Gruuls Twice and have 74 raider's comm. I can buy 0 pieces lol which ultimately doesn't matter because M+4 gets you the same ilvl has heroic Kara gear. So my raider comms can buy me lower ilvl gear.

@mcdoubles if you're looking to re-visit this build. I recommend trying to see if you could get whirlwind and/or divine storm for M+. It strikes all enemies with the fel-infused flames imbue.

I would like to see some journey to max only with pvp or some more low level stuff, I personally dont like the high level content that much, but I like the journey way more! I enjoyed the fel Videos soooo much, where you drop down and only pvp to max and progress like that, hope you will consider that in the future! Btw nice vid mate!

Probably the most fun I've had on a build since Lava Sweep came out. I was lucky to get the meta on my first prestige and recently got the arcane power. I've been trying Str as main stat with using spell power gear. Not sure if that's really that good or not though to be honest (The gear part). -Felrac; Thrall

mcdoubs gets my pyromancer tank build suggestion for coa to be heard. dot spammer with hellfire for aoe dmg. burning building bar that after so long you can use to cc targets affected with burn. firewall (tsunami reskined). hellfire spam while being able to move and block. stam based with a fire protective shield that puts dots(burn) on attacking targets. shield also gives stam and dmg reduction or maybe make it like a pally redoubt skill

Try out some Hardcore WoW man, I think you might be into it. Defias Pillager has a decent amount of horde and a ton of alliance players. A lot of other creators are also doing things like Mak'gora every level, or just anyone they see etc.

Dont know if this will help but i always been doing x3 characters (str int agi) this have given me the chance to reroll builds, try new builds , and geer up easy! ithink this could feel up your time in ascension!! am not going hard core or anything but just trying a new build going throw mythics your character passivle gear up eventually!

Also instead of going in flames my sweet shadow, try shadow propellant, use the Dark flames RE my chaos bolts don’t hit as much but my cleave and blade make up for it and more

can always come play lords of the fallen with me buddy when that comes out. man u drew me back into conquest of azeroth. Ur right it can be painful leveling with the low amount of players but its still fun testing. Think im like the only 1 playing life primalist 😂 but hey I 2 maned black rock depths last night lol. shame my dmg is dog ish but with coa dungeon finding. you never know what kinda tank you'll get so idk guess its fine cause my aoe heals generate a good amount of threat low level.

Not really, but since you mostly use fire/shadow damage anyway + the immolation aura as a bonus AoE if needed, it's a decent CD to have just like arcane power.

It is always a little unfortunate when people believe they are "great" at design and balance but then want to homogenize things to make them all the same....I couldn't disagree more about the idea that strength and agi should be the same, just like int and str shouldn't be the same....it should all be different and the choice should be meaningful....it SHOULD exclude some builds from using one or the other, that is GOOD design, if everyone and everything can do it all then it removes variety, it removes individuality, everything becomes basically the same and over time it makes everything feel the same....unfortunately this will probably bleed into your other project so that's unfortunate, as it will be on the decline.

The idea is that the difference between Agi and Str is arbitrary at best and the builds that use them are literally the exact same. With regular WoW, Agi made sense as the stat that gave Ranged Attack Power, but also as a stat to help differentiate who gets what gear so that not every attack power user is rolling for the same gear. But the stats, outside of how they work for Hunter, are nearly the same and the gear they are on are just stated slightly differently to allow for similar results. The point is not to homogenize, the point is to not have different things just for the sake of it being different. If I was making my own MMORPG from scratch, I'd definitely have stats that are meaningful and make sense and that would almost certainly include an "agility"-like stat. But for Classless Ascension? Its bad.
