Helpful suggestions from a mom- move your trash can to the other end of the island. That way you’re not seeing it when u walk into the room and while entertaining. Do a skinny console cabinet in the hallway with a chair next to it and lamp, Bowl/basket for keys on top.

Love it! You should try making the couch one long piece and move the ottoman out so it’s not attached (coffee table vibes). Or flipping the short side of the couch to the other end to face the windows.

Wait! Your sofa is wrong and right. You need to expose that window and put the taller piece on other end. You're blocking the the million dollar view . It will also make that nook more comfy and able to look out the window and the TV. Please try. You're missing it!!

Hint: I have the same kitchen trash can….we use the trash bags from Costco. Waaayyyy cheaper and works just as well. As far as art….only buy or whatever, things that bring you joy and the best memories. This is your home…

I feel like you still should have placed the tv on the other wall, where you thought of it initially, and placed the sofa differently, given the fact you can actually do that with yours. Having the back of the sofa facing the dining area really separates the space, and also, when you enter the room you first see the living area and the gorg window you have which is now blocked by the sofa.

That lovesac is way too big for that space. A more modern, minimalist couch would help open your living space up and match the aesthetic of your kitchen. Lovesacs are great but the bulkiness looks terrible

You looked STUNNING at the Fresh event! 😍 Definitely swap the TVs!! The beautiful frame TV should be in the main space and the ugly tv & sound bar in your room. Then you can add a higher consul table, or even a gallery style wall around the frame TV. It will look sooooo much better then just a black square on the wall when the tv is not in use.

One of my favorite decor styles is modern vintage/eclectic.. but there’s a home style that I think you’ll like! The Nancy Meyers style.. it’s based off movies she’s directed and the interior design of the homes ❤❤❤ would love to see that! Very grown up, lived in, and a mix of modern vintage but would also look good with the industrial style you already have going on

Maybe try to move couch like two feet away from the window. That way yoz could still access the windowsill and the aircon (I think thats what it is on the wall) is not above the couch. In the corner in between couch and window you could put an olive tree ir something similar. Xx

Is the piece you ordered for the sofa making the “L” be right facing to un-block the window? That would give you space to move the ottoman away from the sofa to make more like a coffee table. It’s all coming together beautifully. The table and chairs look great in the space.
