The way this film is received makes me realize that ultimately we are suckers of morality. The woman is depicted as someone who remained true to Deepak even after his death. This is what we celebrated: the restoration of morality. So basically, she knows how to indulge in someone within boundaries. On the other hand social definitions of morality creates those boundaries. However, she denies a society that creates morality. That's a philosophical crisis but not social one.

May be he is trying to say that on one hand she says she doesn't care much for the society and then again she is confining herself within moral boundaries created/defined by that same society.

May be she's not following social norms of morality by remaining loyal to her husband even after his death. It is possible that she still hasn't healed and is not ready to move on yet; just testing the waters from a distance before mustering the courage to lose her heart to love again. Everyone has a different way of coping with their loss and pain. We can't judge.

The moment she said cheat day or moment cannot be enjoyed daily .... which clearly means she loves to live with his memories but on the same hand she is human and have her own desires too but in boundaries.. even though she would've moved on if she'll find someone but she chose to stay like that depending on that one cheat day.. maybe the writer was trying to show the unbreakable bond between the two of them, that she is okay like this only even if she has lost him... basically, for her love was enough more than her human desires...

This made me question so many things.. I mean right from the moment they start their conversation, they talk of everything we know yet we don't really acknowledge.. the society, your self, how you feel, how you make others feel, the curiosity and all other emotions.. I mean whoever wrote this definitely knows how to connect to people.. Loved it.. I wish the writer knows how deep impact it made on me and I'm sure on others who watched this..

This is so emotional... I wonder what they carry in their little hearts, people who go through loss that they didn't want to experience... Cheat Night is officially practised in Norway. Husband and wife go separately and spend night away from home with some body else. No questions asked! We have lived in Norway for eight years, and were surprised that Cheat Night is socially accepted!
