Horrible pain and suffering is draining and truly emotional. In the last 5 years I was bedbound 20to 23 hours aday with spine problems and struggling. on high doses of morphine and on other pills. Thankfully in the last 3 months with expensive treatments I'm seeing some improvement but still stuck in bed alot and my muscles are wasting away and can wake up in alot of pain in my hips. Im getting worse and that's wat the specialist who went through my MRI scans said. Most days I only brush my teeth once and at worst two days pass and only managed to brush once in that time. I can end up collapsing and unable to get up on my own. Sometimes I just have to stay on the ground till the spasms calm down. What makes it very hard is the persicution and from some loved ones and what's shocking even physical abuse or attacks from false Christians. Neglected hated manipulated at the worst of times I was struggling to just sit or stand and to try hold it together and not break down into tears as I'm taking abuse and even physical. Wow so hard but I can rejoice I'm able to suffer for the LORD and bring him Glory as I try to speak the truth in love as I'm being hated by the devil's children. Most people I know would not be able to handle this and would give up but by the Grace of Almighty God I can have peace and Joy and hope in Jesus name. Such power from above to love those who hate us it's amazing thank you Jesus! Been wanting to start my own yt channel but I'm to sick and typing is limited due to nerve damage but praying for healing if it's the will of the LORD. It's great that you can still bless and love people with the Gospel and hopefully get improvement or healing from our God. Looking forward to paradise where we get to worship the LORD God Almighty forever it's bliss to know him now and such Joy but even more so when we see him Face to Face. Glory to Jesus Christ our God and saviour praise him Saints praise the LORD! Fight the good fight brother il see you at the finish line :)

Hello again brother. Im battling Lyme too, and I understand how we have to almost store up energy and be wise how we use it. One product that helped me the most was Samento. (Cats Claw). I’m no where I used to be at full health, but I’m not as close to death either like I was last year. You aren’t alone. Gods been teaching me not to rely on my own strength.

I can highly relate! I’m reminded of the scripture of your brothers and sisters all across the world are enduring the same things as you. Or roughly that’s what it said. Can’t remember exact verse. I’m enduring a tough week currently. But God is good! He’s brought me this far! He won’t ever leave which would be worse than anything I could endure here on earth. This isn’t our forever. He is. Greatly encouraged by your video through it The Lord reminds me I’m not alone and it’s ok to have tough days. Which I should know by now but like you want to get out there for the Lord and have independence. I have been dealing with chronic illness for about 17 years. But the Last 5 began my journey with the Lord. In this time I have had great improvement though I am not where I was before I fell ill. I consider though my body is still limited I am in a much better place with Christ as my Lord and savior. I have hope. So I suppose you could say I am way better than I was depending on how you look at it. I’m just grateful to know him. I am grateful for what I have and don’t. Whatever he gives on any given day. He knows what we need best. Even if it’s hard sometimes to understand. So on days I am called to rest I will.(though it’s not always easy) On days I am called to share the good news I will. Also just living close to the Lord as we are is a testimony to those around us that they might come to him. Even as we endure suffering. Waiting on the Lord for what is next but I know he will make a way when it’s time. He is awesome! We just need to keep our eyes on him. When I take my focus off him and put it in myself or my circumstances it can get overwhelming. Or even the dreams I have. Through him we can bare and endure all things. Though I have nothing I have everything in Christ who supply’s all my needs. Grateful for you! Thank you for sharing! God is good! All Glory to the Lord forever and ever amen!

We as humans cannot declare healing. We can ask for healing in faith. There is no declaration that humans can do. Only God can declare something.

Matt I totally understand your situation!!! I have fibromyalgia and CFS. Look up the spoon theory! Dont use all your spoons! Its sooo hard to heal with!🥺 I got sick in 2011. I had 3 nervous breakdowns being married to a narrisst/ toxic marriage for 31 years! God saved my life and now I'm slowly healing everyday! 💜💜💜 unfortunately I live with abusive parents who are emotionally immature and not supportive. You are so lucky to have parents who care!💜💜💜 You need to give yourself grace and unconditional love to yourself.I try to take care of myself like I would take care of my own child! I just take baby steps everyday and it's okay if you have an off day as long as you keep on moving foward and trusting God and being thankful for your progress!!!❤❤❤🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 much love and prayers to you! Thank you for opening up a bit about your own journey. I have heard of the spoon Theory before and I do try to allocate my energy even if it's difficult. I feel for you. I have M.S. too, a very physically painful form. I don't know how anyone can bear to live without God in their lives. At any time, anything could happen to them that could knock them down and destroy all their plans. Who would want to be alone at a time like that? I just said a prayer for you.

That's an incredible testimony of faith that you are living with such perseverance and continue to trust in the Lord despite every natural reason to give up. I pray that more and more good can come out of your circumstances, some of which you may not even realise until after this life passes. @@lionoffireministries my dad says he cannot understand how I can worship God when I'm in so much difficulty and pain but he's changing and his views are changing he no longer agrees with abortion and says he wants to be a Christian but still needs to Repent. He knows I speak the truth and have had opportunity to lie in order to get more money from the government or help from the NHS but knows about how I decided to not go down that path. He knows im Willing to die rather than lie or sin and managed to get him to watch Ray comforts Noah and the last days, evolution Vs God and some of ken ham and other Christian videos on science and history. He's even heard me play different preachers like Paul washer on a small speaker as I go about the house in hopes he hears. None of my family that are alive are saved and what a challenge that is. I used to be the biggest antichristian in my family but praise the LORD he saved me.

Thanks for this message. I suffer from PTSD CPTSD not from Lyme Disease. But I have days of absolute debilitation learning how to live again. I was a horrible sinner and lost everything and gave much away and just recently found Christ (2 years?) So grateful for God’s mercy. God Bless you. You will be in my prayers. Cheers!

Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us. I suffered from migranous vertigo for over 30 yrs. I had to hold on to walls when I went shopping. People thought I was drunk or addicted to drugs. God strengthened me during those foggy mind and body episodes. He is faithful and compassionate. I prayed for healing all those years. A few years ago I felt The Holy Spirit tell me to go to the elders of my church for anointing with oil. I did that and got completely healed. It is all in His Time! Stay strong In Him. Matt! Thank you for elaborating on your situation. I was initially drawn to your channel because I knew we had a similar journey. I was excited that I got to be one of the first views on this video. This is so important that you share because so many suffer in the world and many believe they are alone in their illness. But millions have Lyme, fibro, CFS/ME, celiac, Hashimoto's, POTS, MS, heavy metal toxicity, multiple chemical sensitivity, Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome and many other conditions with debilitating, life-sucking consequences and no easy way out. 20 years of chronic illness has had me many times at the end of my rope, like you. It is easy to fall into discouragement and frustration. "How can I even serve you like this, Lord?"...I've cried out many thousands of days to God, only to feel shunned and forgotten. Yet, I have realized that sometimes in life my sole purpose for being alive is to just bask in His presence, all alone. To appreciate fully His gift of companionship and His sacrifice for me. To remember I am blessed because He is with me always, and so to praise Him. If there isn't energy for me to say the words out loud then I am to make my soul loud. When I can't feel anything but pain, then I am to pray to let the principle of His love infiltrate my mind so it lifts my heart. My work is sometimes all between Him and me, yet still is an entire ministry unto itself. Interpersonal connection is becoming more frequent for me, but it is still my greatest challenge in my weak moments too. Anyway, I'm listening for a second time :) ... You are an inspiration Matt! Your desire to reach others with the message of hope is beautiful. God will heal that body in His perfect time. Thank you God!

I got something but I dont want to go to no hospital unless I'm in extreme pain I know I'm obese also fell down and damaged my back so bad I couldn't stand up for 3 minutes but in Jesus mighty name this pain is dead 💪

I've had hashimoto's for 15 years and it has been a long difficult journey. Lots of tears and recently, breakthroughs. It's debilitating and triggers alopecia so my hair falls out, and thank God, grows back. His grace has gotten me through this. It almost killed me a few times, been hospitalized, and being taught by false teachers newly saved, I thought He healed me and my faith wasn't strong enough to receive it. I finally got revelation by God and His grace and rid of that nonsense and I just plain have to trust Him daily. Your story is actually very similar to mine. I truly can identify with you. The depression, wanting to pack it in, running out of steam easily, and you name it. I mean it sounds like me telling my story. I'm so grateful that you shared this. I am so sorry to hear what you've gone through Matt. I am battling CIRS at the moment which is an illness triggered my mould exposure with very similar symptoms to Lyme disease. I admire your positive outlook on things and I also believe that God has a purpose for our suffering, whether it be to bring new perspectives to our lives or to build greater resilience and strength in us. God bless you! I have been in that wonderful place of peace, joy, boldness, etc. A taste of Heaven, really. I only found it in my lowest low. That is the secret place with God! When you find yourself in tears, though, asking God why...remember that He knew YOU could handle it. He made you that way. Your life is a testimony to people who need to hear it. It's hard to try to understand God's ways. I think we really can't on Earth, because we only know in part, but some day we will know fully. God is good. In fact, He's great! And He doesn't change. Our circumstances do, but that doesn't change who He is, and He is perfect in every way. Thank you for all you do, and God bless you!

Thank you brother just checked out this video after finding it in your comments to me last night is amazing how His grace is sufficent for us with chronic illness/pain,.. can relate to 99% of this video having been 16 yrs in of spinal issues failed operations/drugs which left me worse off and only Gods strenght to keep me looking upwards and onwards,even though my disability dictates every area of my life also not being able to do normal things... go long walks any longer pain sitting or standing etc the Lord has been my All in All my faith in HIm never ceasing even though Ive flare up and real bad days and weeks if I have pushed myself being a real active person its been so tough to limit myself .I can relate to things that are lost like jobs friends etc too but our best friend is Jesus praise God and for His Holy Spirit within .I thank you for your encouragement and your heart to reach out to your brothers and sisters in these videos...you have no idea how much they help .God bless you ..I will be praying

I always find it interesting when someone finds out that I have a chronic illness. Early on with the channel I spoke about this a lot more. I’m glad that it doesn’t impact my delivery. By the grace of God I have been getting better and better. Praise God.

@@lionoffireministries I get it though because lots of illnesses are “invisible” to others. In the past I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia/myofascial pain syndrome and I’ve had chronic neck pain for years. Despite all this, God’s given me times of respite and lots of healing along the way. Oh, how his goodness causes us to praise him! He would deserve it though even if he didn’t help us but that’s not his nature. He blesses even those who hate him, how much more his own children. God bless you, Matt. Someday soon we’ll get our glorified resurrection bodies and his reward he’ll bring with him. No more pain or suffering. Keep fighting the good fight, brother. You’re not alone!

Definitely will be following both channels. I suffer from POTS and EDS...I hate limits! However you are right, the Joy of our Lord is amazing. I have a Christian music list called Get out of bed. My prayer now is Lord show me how I can serve you now! Use my illness to further your glory.

I’ve had me/cfs for 18 months and my journey mirrors yours. I’ve been taking low dose Naltreone (LDN) for three weeks and the anxiety is lifting as is the fatigue. POTS & PEM has also improved. I’m expecting greater improvement over the next few months.

I think this video was meant just for me. Although I see many here reading the comments that some are ill also. I appreciate your honesty. Everything that you have mentioned here i think most of us that are ill have had same thoughts. Its not easy but the encouragement you give is so helpful to us all. Some days I am full of encouragement to others but then some days I am full of despair for myself. I believe we all need encouragement through rough times. Wow....now I am excited about the future of this channel! I am saving this one for sure so I can go back for encouragement. Ive had this bump in my road 8 years now. But I too praise God for it. He has helped me through all of my pain of 4 fractures in my back. I still have problems but nothing that God and I can't handle together! Today is my birthday 12-31-57. In my younger days when I worked out I was a medical assistant always helping others. I am so happy when I can help now because some days I feel like I am worth nothing anymore but God is so good to always bring someone that I can pray for or just listen. I am so blessed indeed!

Just wanted to say that I am Christian, and I recently think i got ME/CFS. Im the most "Go" person i know. I was always winning and achieving. Blessed with a lot of things that i wasnt grateful, appearance, height, health, money gym, everything. I was planning to go to the navy and bam... longcovid/ME-CFS. Now i am recovering from my first crash (PEM hit me 10 months after). Your video helped a lot to understand God plan in this. Thank you.

I echo many of those same things for my own life. Having had this happened to me has taught me a lot. I don’t know exactly where you’re at in your journey, but healing doesn’t just happen by itself. One thing to keep aware of is pushing yourself too hard. It’s very easy to become complacent and have a crash. I never expected my journey to last so many years, but hopefully yours is much shorter. Thank you so much for sharing this. I also have a few different chronic illnesses and I had to learn how to live my new life. Just like you I was a very Busy person that never stopped. So when I got these illnesses the worst part of it all what is when the doctors told me I cannot work anymore and I also had to send my young children to daycare. Now that I know my limitations and how much I can do in a day it truly helps. I am sure you’re just like so many others that have chronic illnesses you push it so much one day and then you’re down for two days. I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of the spoon theory. It is an amazing way to help to explain to others how your body works compared to theirs. Keep staying strong and hold Jesus close as he will keep teaching us each and every day how to live our new life‘s’s. This is so encouraging to so many people. I am sure just like Me you didn’t know all of this at the beginning. Hopefully you touched others that are just getting diagnosed or that never heard this before. Thank you again!

He is at the point where you were 2 years ago, bedridden and holding on by Gods Grace everyday. Thank You for this encouragement! 🙏🏾This is exactly where I am today. I’m fighting Fibromyalgia and CFS. Haven’t been able to work going on 3 years now, stuck in the house and spend majority of time in bed! I was married to a narcissist and had to remove myself from that situation and it has been extremely hard to pull myself through all of this but thank God for Jesus, that in my weakness He’s been my Strength! I’ve been saved for over 20 years but going through this has me and God at a whole different level in our relationship! He’s brought me through Anxiety and Depression without the medications. The mind is a battlefield but the battle doesn’t belong to us, it belongs to God! Hallelujah 🙌🏾

I recently fell very ill, doctors don’t know what is going on or what I have. Very hard for me spiritually and mentally, especially when I can’t do what I used too. I battle with myself each day. So many of us are going through similar things, but what the enemy meant for harm, our God uses for good. He is so good to us always. It's amazing to find another christian who has chronic illnesses and understands. I have CFS, Fibromyalgia and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome and I can relate so much to you. Hi brother Matt. I'm really at a loss for what I want to say, how to say it, so I'm just going to have to do my best. I can totally relate to you. On every level. And it blows my mind to listen to you talking about what it's like everyday to live with chronic illness and saving energy... just the whole thing. absolute totality of the whole thing, the spiritual part, the everything. One thing I noticed is that I am a lot older than you and when I first got the virus that I got from swimming in the bayou I was 24 years old and I'm going to be honest with you it has not totally gone away. I certainly wanted it to go away and I also did a lot of natural healing modalities. Are you doing anything to heal your body? herbs supplements anything like that? Anyways I have never gotten my energy back it's still a fight every day and most days I just hang out in bed it's very difficult and I know and I want to encourage you to look forward to getting better. It's just that in my own life it didn't happen. it just didn't happen. I don't know why. as long as I have God and Jesus is with me I can keep on going. Thank you for this so much-needed video. I'm sorry that you're still struggling with your illness. I'm doing all the things that I can do to recover and get better and I'm noticing that when I do the right things I do heal. The challenge is consistently putting them into practice day after day and not overstepping my boundaries. I will continue to take it one day at a time and do everything that I can to return to good health. I'm so glad that we both have God in our life, because without him there really is no purpose to this. But there will be a day whether in this life or the next that all of the pain and illness disappears. I pray that my testimony continues to be a blessing to many

Burning out, so we have no energy is what many people do. This is a time when many of those many, are born again in Jesus because he is fully aware of this problem and he is the only one who can set us back up on a pathway that relieves our worries, straightens out our thinking, and begins a repair programme within us. There are many attributes to seeking out righteous truth in a gentle, caring, way, and we can put our own interpretation on them. My interpretation of prayer is that it sets us up on an emotional frequency that is meek and righteous and coincides with the electric frequency that brings God's Living Waters into our daily lives and this gently stimulates our emotional health and our physical health, and, of course, our spiritual health.

Wow thank you for this video and for sharing your story. It takes a lot of strength to be vulnerable like this. I also deal with chronic pain on a daily basis from a car accident I was in a few years ago and finally received a diagnosis that sheds more light into the symptoms I experience. Some days are really tough, but I appreciate videos like this that help me know that I’m not alone in the struggle and just how the Lord can work through it.

Our daughter battled lyme disease for about 17 years - At times, we thought she would not make it. The only thing that saved her was prayer and bee venom therapy (BVT). We tried so much, spent tens of thousands of dollars, and none of it worked until she did BVT. She is now lyme symptom-free and pregnant with our first grandchild. Thank You, Jesus. About two months ago, I heard a lady (super smart lady who I believe has her PHD in medical research) speaking about Ivermectin and how effective it is against Covid 19. In her talk, she mentioned that Ivermectin can also help overcome lyme disease. You can find information about Ivermectin and lyme disease online. Hope this helps.

Amen brother!! So encouraging how you deal with that illness - accepting your condition in the sense of giving yourself into the hands of God, resting and making yourself fully dependent on him! Instead of complaining and being angry at God. At the same time also believing patiently in your healing and receiving his strength in all of that. 😊 I just discovered your channel and I am already so blessed by it! I feel God has taken me through the same process, have been struggling with CFS (not that extreme as you though). I can fully relate to what you say and it seems to be God’s way with his children, to bring them into a place where they can’t do anything in their own strength. This sounds a lot like my life. I was called by God to do things that I began doing (leading/preaching in church) but then my chronic illness, which had been really mild, severely flared until I was bedbound. That was about 18 months ago - I am slowly, slowly increasing my activity like you are. Growing in peace and finding the tough times are fewer and less intense. Praying for you, brother!

Hang In There because God has a plan with chronic illness. I was very much like you but was on a path to becoming a doctor and started getting sick (nausea/pain/vomiting) and I pushed and pushed myself until I ended up in the hospital with pancreatitis (From gallstones) and was given a less than 10% chance to live. I spent months in the hospital and managed to get better and out of the hospital and even tried to get back on track with everything but the damage that had been done to me internally started to show itself in other illnesses like diabetes and a scarred and damaged liver so I got cirrhosis without actually drinking all that much but through it all God plotted a perfect course into His tender care. Back in 2018 while hospitalized (again…….it happens a lot) I was listening to wretched radio because I’d run across Todd Friel on KZfaq. He played a sermon by Voddie Baucham and it started me on a path to returning to church and God really getting ahold of my life. What we see as chaos and pain initially is actually Gods perfect and finely crafted plan into His arms. God bless you brother!

It's amazing how one can have victory during a health struggle. There's immense goodness in trying times. I was hospitalized for 6 weeks, due to abdominal wound sepsis following life saving surgery. I shared a ward with Zulu women, so I was lonely - I can't speak Zulu and most of them can hardly speak English. This was quite a walk with our Lord, and despite my discomfort, I just felt more love for God than ever before. He saved my life in that time - many prayer Warriors were praying for me. I'm still not 100% healed, as I have an open wound which requires twice weekly visits to a wound clinic. But I can shine my light to all the medical staff there, so it's just fine. Matt, you'll be fine and doing all the things you desire to. Shalom, and take care.

Hi Matt: I came to Christ in a similar way...or rather he came to me in a similar way. Through my chronic illness. I've had a lot of worldly things stripped away from me, but I've been left with the greatest gift of all. And yes, I still get frustrated and sad, but I keep my eyes on Christ and Trust. I've had severe illness for about 4 1/2 years too! So crazy. It's been multiple illnesses for me instead of just one, but I can totally relate to the emotional and even physical affects of chronic illness. God bless you, brother. I will be praying for you!

@@lionoffireministries I'm sure it will be. Yeah, I've had a few parasites, malaria, and my wisdom teeth gave me severe problems as well for a time. But, I am hopefully getting better slowly here as well. It's hard, but there's a magnificent peace knowing Jesus.

I connect with your story so much. I have had CFS for 4 years now - still struggling to be still though. It's ridiculous how hard it is. I got ill just after I became a Christian (also after a trip to India). I was extremely self sufficient and self willed before. God stripped away everything I relied on to make me reliant on Him. I was amazed when you spoke about Romans 12:12. At least a few times a week I reach for my phone and it says 12:12 - and I know the Lord is reminding me of that verse. I pray for full and complete restoration of your health and energy. He is already doing great things through you!

Thanks for this testimony. I really hear that part about going, going, going & see it everyday with society (especially with American teenager society) and it's scary to have chronic illness. I know it's not easy to do this. I hope your channel goes far in the new year. God bless.

Thank you for sharing. I was stricken with fibromyalgia 3 years ago I understand the CFS and knowing what it feels like to go from being a high energy person to being home bound and bed bound. I’ve become closer to God and also have become stronger and have developed more of the fruits of the spirit. I thank God for loving me enough to stop me and council me for such a long time.. I’m sure he’s preparing me for his purpose, I just don’t know what yet.. I’m thankful for your story and your encouragement. My dogs have also been so comforting to me during this difficult time. Ilish Rose I’m so sorry for all your losses and also you and your daughter’s pain. I know it hurts mostly because your daughter is hurting, but this too, she will overcome with God. You see we are very similar. I also have a daughter who is an only child and her father left us when she was 6 to go live a life filled with drugs.. my daughter is now an adult and is a mother too..She’s a very well adjusted happy Christian woman.. we were also homeless for a while, I’ve spent most my life just surviving.. I sure wish I would have trusted God more back then but I know he carried me through and saw me through some really tough times. God is wonderful and the best thing you can do for your child is raise her with Jesus.. He’s everything.. there’s nothing in this world worth anything without Jesus. You are in my prayers sister.. thank you so much for sharing your story, you are a blessing to me.. Know you are not alone, Sister. Much love to you and your sweet daughter.
