A Christmas Festival for Saxophone Quartet

Leroy Anderson originally arranged "A Christmas Festival" as a concert overture for orchestra in 1950. At the time, he was the arranger for the Boston Pops Orchestra. The piece has been arranged for brass bands and wind ensembles, and is a classic from all bands across the United States.

I love this arrangement. We played Christmas Festival last year as a middle school band (an edited version so it’s easier) and I’m a sax player and this just brings me joy

Reminds me when I had 5 days to practice the bari sax part of the Themes from 1812 overture and, giving up on the 10+ bars of tied whole notes.

Soprano, alto, tenor, bari. If you start playing saxophone i would advice to begin with an alto saxophone.
