Starbucks actually sells more sugar than coffee. Ppl ain’t walking in there getting a plain dark roast. They’re drinking liquid sugar, with a shot of coffee, topped with whipped cream and more sugar.

That’s not completely true.. those shots of espresso have way more caffeine than drinking a cup of coffee.. granted they are selling tons of sugar, but they are for sure selling plenty of caffeine

What people don't realize is they are packing sugar into coffee. I'd say most people don't even like the taste of plain coffee with no sugar. So they are not only addicted to the caffeine they are riding a sugar high as well. The people who drink plain espresso or drip coffee are not the real addicts they are the minority of Starbucks customers cuz starbucks coffee ain't all that great by itself.

I'm with Keysha, for me it was energy drinks. At the worst point of my life energy wise I would drink like 3 Reign energy drinks just to be able to stay awake throughout the day if you know dosages that's 900 mg of caffeine. Wasn't until a medical scare back in March did I cut off caffeine entirely. The difference is ridiculous, I am not going back. I do miss the flavors though lol
