Because of how Tsunami’s legs are positioned on her body on The Lost Heir’s cover, I spent the entirety of my time with this series until I saw book 9’s cover thinking Seawings had fins instead of hind legs. I thought they were slithering this entire series😅

What I like most about SeaWings is their ability to survive both in water and on dry land, even though they seem more at home in the water. Furthermore, they appear to be better swimmers than fliers. They should be equally adept at both.

Currently working on a Seawing OC rn, I love these videos! They help me flesh out characters, since I like tying my characters to the canon a lot.

Watching this video made me even more excited for what happens to the dragons in Arc 3 (I hope they everything goes okay and that they get a happy ending)

I had an idea for a new continent with 6 new tribes without one theme CloudWings, RockWings, FireWings, AbyssWings, JetWings and ToxicWings CloudWings are soft like RainWings and are looked down upon RockWings are strong, bulky and great fighters FireWings are just as simple as the name suggests. I think they can have firescales that turn on and off AbyssWings are the NightWings of this continent, and control a wormhole between the continents and other planets JetWings are the SkyWings of this continent, and can fly at supersonic speeds, hence the name ToxicWings are poisonous and have one main theme like the FireWings

We're not going to mention that Pearl didn't have errors right so indigo one of her three children probably ended up being Queen which means it's probably clear pool cuz I think she was the only girl and the other two were calorie and ripple And clear pool was named after clear fight

It was also after the royal seawing massqer that the skywings started killing there animus dragons out of parnoia. That let to the execution of the mother of one of my origanal characters named Crow who is skywing nightwing hybrid like Charcoal ( i just like that hybrid combo ). The Skywings had even prior to that tried to kill Crow because of the hybrid thing. Crow after does to insedences hates all pure blooded Skywings.

What’s insane to me is that Tsunami stays. She goes to pantala with the other dragons, and is pretty relavent the whole booksieres.

The others tribe to make is : Icewing, Leafwing, Hivewing and Silkwing (Beetlewing are not elligible since we know so little thing about them !). Just one question .... Will you make a "A Closer Look" about the Scavengers/Humans !? Because humans are also a tribe by themselve despite not being dragons but they have so many impact and importance in final in the events of the universe that is not possible to not make a video about them. Their story is complex, intriging, interesting, and all the humans characters show to us and we know so far are also all attractive in their own way. Most of them are well written too ! Same for the Dragonslayer Book personnally (even if, like you said oftently, there some discutable weaknesses here and here). It's also a little an obligation to make a video about them because they are us, our own specie, in the serie and even if at the start of the franchise, they were mean to have little background without interest roles before to received with time more importance and background, they are still alway a element of the franchise to speak about. I appreciate, also, their development througouht the franchise, book after book, because with some recul, us, reader, can find pretty boring and sad (especially for young kids since the books are first for them) to know that humans like us, our own specie, exist in WOF universe, where there dragon in first roles, and only be snack and sulfur pains, defenseless entities without interest since the majority of they appearances are to be resume of human hunted scenes or excecution scene with oftently quick but hard death for them... So yes, I think that was a clever idea put in the books to change all this the author made, to make the with time main entities with impact in the mains event of the mains books story, because since we are all the same specie we imprinted on them. If human in WOF were replace by an other humanoid race like goblins or somethig like that (and by nature really disgusting, stupid and despicable creature) that would not be the case and we would not have problems around what the dragons have as relations with them. Plus, most of the humans character who has the most view and impact of the franchise are woman/girl, so it's cool to see a litle touc of feminisim in addition (Rose/Flower and Wren are so iconic !).

Just my honest opinion here, people, regarding the SeaWings: I think the reason they speak with Aquatic underwater, is because even though their gills allow them to breathe, it's for code purposes. I'm theorizing that if 2 Seawings want to communicate to each other in secret, without any other SeaWings finding out what they're saying, then I believe Aquatic would be a very effective way to accomplish that. Like I said, people, just my personal opinion on SeaWings, regarding the Aquatic language.

I Hate Jeraboa! So many characters could have been saved, (ex: tamarins eyes, star flight’s eyes, and stonemover now that darkstalker is gone and he has nothing to fear) the only way I can see the war ending is Turtlejou getting serious. 1 year later a seawing/rainwing hybrid animus hatches, it uses its magic to restore the former animus dragons ( the spell only says you can’t REVERSE it, it never said anything about turning dragons into animus) they get rid of the other mind and then they go home, turtle and anemone save the previous mentioned dragons then turtle finds kinkijous parents like he promised and everyone lives happily ever after, the end (hopefully just for this ark, THERE BETTER BE MORE!)

Darkstalker/Peacemaker never realy manipulated Fathom, they were really friend between them, and have a real friendship since they two understand each others because of their respective past family problems (Fathom with Albatros, Darkstalker with Prince Artic his own father). So okay, there way ups and downs in their relationship, with Darkstaller being being sincerely really kind to his family, his friends, his own tribe but doing evil and bad deeds without realizing it, obliging them for their own good to follow him and obey him without argument by taking away more or less all free will from them. It is also partly from there that comes all the complexity and strength of the character, in fact he is a good guy and not a bad guy but he finds himself to be one without knowing it and wanting it. On the one hand, he makes sure to really provide for the needs and well being of the dragons but at the cost of their free will... and it is on this point that things/debates about what is good or not are in questionable reality because it is both a good thing and a bad thing. There is thus all the reflection, quite classic it is true, of the fact that on the one hand the dragons would all be cushy and would never experience an unfortunate event again, but also that on the other hand, he would sacrifice what makes d them living beings but would always know so many setbacks... What people like about Darkstalker as much as Fathom is that it's really characters with a very tragic story and who lived at a very young age not very happy events with beings with whom they were close . With Darkstalker, you can't blame him at all, even a little bit, for his good, questionable or unknowingly bad actions. Especially with what we learn in the Legend book which is dedicated to it. He is just a poor dragon who has known a lot of misery, lost and who has not stopped trying to be accepted and to do good as best he can without succeeding, and who would still have to continue to suffer mentally if Kinkajou and the other protagonists of the second cycle had not stopped him for good. But now that Darstalker has been animuzed by Kinkajou who has rejuvenated him, stripped him of all his powers, and rendered him amnesiac (and transformed his Icewing blood into Rainwing's), Darkstalker can, even unconsciously of all that happened, finally live a happy, carefree and eternal life with his mother Foeslayer (with take the pseudonym/assumed name of "Hope" to to hide incognito and be quiet from other dragons) under the pseudonym/assumed name of "Peacemaker". To be honest, even if a good number of people, at my knowledge, had a big disagree about this "antagonist" ending, I find thi pretty well done and orginal compare to all the others WOF villain or most of the villains in others media where they alway "pass the weapon to the left" (thing who is not very imaginative let be agree). Escpecially when you learn and read his story/bio of the character. It's even the first goal of his dedicated Legend book btw ! To conclude, I will just said that there a big contrast we can made between Fathom and Darkstalker at their era, where Fathom manage to get a happy live and Darkstalker who lost to have one despite the two start in similars settings.

Okay, the history of dragons in this world goes back THOUSANDS of YEARS ago. And there’s a VAST OCEAN between Pyrrhia & Pantala. So, what if some dragons evolved to only be able to stay in the ocean? Only being able to be on land is just an overall disadvantage, and no dragon can evolve to only stay in the sky, but evolving to only stay in the sea? Whales have already done that, why not dragons?
