Apparently minodoxil/rogaine also helps for beards! I have a slightly less patchy beard (bought it for head hair thinning) and it definitely made some facial hair more thick. Apparently that's how they found out it worked on hair - it was a blood pressure medicine then women started growing beards.

@@JanizMakudomaru Applying Minoxidil on the scalp daily restores thinning hair follicles by supplying them with more blood. I've only ever used Minoxidil to fill in bald spots in my beard, but balding friends of mine have used it with great results. Some things to look out for are (relatively) minor side effects like lower blood pressure and headaches. Also keep in mind that the substance is meant to strengthen WEAKENED hair follicles, not completely restore them. If you are bald, you will not get your hair back. It is only useful on places where your hair is THINNING and as soon as you stop using Minoxidil your hair follicles will start regressing again.

Strangely find it funny when Jan mentions the phys special split as an advantage for Houndour. Like, both of their stabs were special before generation 4 which was okay for houndour/houndoom because of their high special attack.

It helps for coverage Crunch is not better then Dark Pulse Fire blast is still the best fire move for him But now he can play useful coverage that would have been physical The only issue is Sucker Punch getting physical

Just because those kids grow up and don’t stop playing kids games doesn’t mean they aren’t exactly that, kids games. Not to say they couldn’t be harder, or that it’s a bad thing that people don’t stop playing, I’m not that much of a hypocrite, but lets not pretend like Pokémon is something it isn’t.

I was born before the Mario modder time I'm 30 years old. I played every generation from Red onwards in 1999 but mostly casual and to fill the Dex. I suck in competitive and would lose to the first trainer in this mod probably. Respect for doing a nuzlocke in those insane games

Have you seen Pokemon Elite Redux? It's also pokemon and mechanics of gen 8, but every pokemon has perfect ivs and 3 to 4 abilities at once. I'm playing casually and it's had some really hard times on the hardest setting and second hardest level cap. I think it would be interesting to see you tackle it if you're interested.

Ive only ever nuzlocked Fire Red before, and recently I watched Jan play Run and Bun and I felt the urge to give it a shot mostly because of the Endless Candy, Togglable Repel, and enforced level caps making it very accessible to players. I couldnt get past Brawley with Hardcore Nuzlocke rules, but I'm continuing the game anyways because of how cool the synergies and fights have been, u rarely get an enemy that has a bad team, its either a great team or a very niche team with a strategy that'll get u hyped up when u realize how to crack it. I'm currently walled by Chelle even without HC Nuzlocke rules, and I have to say this game has inspired me to create my own ROM hack. Incredible game, so easy to get started with, so fulfilling to get past each encounter. Huge props to Dekzeh for this fantastic game, and boo to the haters who are salty they cant Nuzlocke it properly and just cry about it all over reddit and twitter

Ok, I have a Nuzlocke question that I’m gonna ask here because I’m not sure where else to ask. Playing a Fan Pokémon project. In the home town, you can choose to do one of two things. Picking up your starter is optional, because in a different building, they just give you a Celebi. Do I have to choose either a starter or the Celebi, with the thinking that “That’s my encounter for this ‘Route’”, or can I pick them both up?
