I just went to something very similar to this for NG+ after spending a good 350 hours wandering The Lands Between on my first complete playthrough. I was using Gravel Stone in the LH slot and Erdtree in the RH slot; didn't even think of the Jellyfish Shield for what looks like an even better total boost. Stuck with the Lightning Scorpion Charm and some other damage boosters, plus the FP-restoring talisman (for general travel throughout the area to get a little FP back - it's actually very effective when you can kill a half dozen enemies with a single cast as most of the FP will replenish at that point). So currently I'm a no shields, no weapon running lightning storm. Also the Ice Lightning Spear works well to debuff some enemies that are resistant to lightning at first.

Ok I’m making this build but I don’t have a few things cus I didn’t get to this till after the capital became ash but even without the seal and all that this build is a nuke to smaller enemies and even a lesser boss was a cake walk with this build

Yeah. It's a cool build but for high levels since there is a major stat split I have 61 in dex and 50 in faith so already 111 Stat points

Saving this video to watch later. While im here though, my current faith lightning build uses Lightning Spear and Lanseaxx Glaive, and I was struggling to decide if Godfreys Icon talisman or Radagons Icon talisman would do anything for this build. I'm fairly certain neither work for Lanseaxx Glaive, but both do very little for Lightning Spear as well as far as i can tell, (these are the cast time reduction and charged spell enhancement talismans). So im using flocks, lightning scorpion, dragoncrest, and pearl talismans just for some tankiness unless i can find another good spell buffing talisman that works for the Red Lightning dragon spells.

You can glitch teleport to Farum Azula to get the prayerbook right from the start.

@@TheKingofRedLightning I wouldn't recommend this build for first timers TBH. This build is more suited for those who have already finished the game before and are just trying out new builds.

@@henta.i.3838 that’s true but the early lightning spells are great too and you can get them in the lakes. Late game first run you can do well with the second book too. Just takes practice 👍

Up to you. If you proc the black dumpling with madness it’s 10% more damage for a minute.

I don't understand what im doing wrong i used ADLS against real Godfrey amd only one or two strikes are hitting him and he ends up killing me

It takes a lot of practice & patience to get ADLS down. It’s all about timing it & fully charging it. You want to be close to the boss but not too close.

I love your videos man. I have a question what weapon would pair well with these lightning spells? I would use the boss nuke and lightning bolt for range and just need an idea for a good weapon for melee range. Also same question for dragon spell build. Would very much appreciate your input.

Thanks! If you can add in some Dex for a weapon electrify armament is really good. You could go for flame art or sacred too, both scale with faith.

I’ve been using Lucerne the halberd. You have strike and pierce damage (all around very versatile), it’s a fairly light weapon, you can add lightning damage to it and add ashes of war!

Gravel stone is better once you upgrade it. 15% added boost to ADLS. 🤘

Hi really enjoy your channel. Have been trying out this build on first playthrough managing to kill everything except malenia part 2 and final elden boss. The only item i dont have is the canvas talisman. Ive been gaming a long long time so could be my age. Any tips would help. Thanks

The only boss imo this isn’t great for is malenia, aside from uncharged lightning spear. Elden beast use ancient dragon lightning strike for and he’ll take fairly good damage. And thanks! 🤘

How does this fare against malenia? Since she dodged stuffs alot. And humanoid hitboxes as well.

ADLS not great imo. I’ve beaten her with lightning spear though. Uncharged she doesn’t dodge it.

I think fortisax lightning spear is great on her. She’s in water so she takes extra damage from lightning

Decent but you’d be losing a good bit of damage. Faith, unlike magic, is built around buffs imo.

okay so i decided im not a fan of of the blood witch bulid you did i just kept getting murked. but my problem is how do i get to these late areas without getting absolutly dicked on. do you have an early game build so i can go out and get the pieces required for your builds?

I would just go blasphemous blade. Go high faith. Fire tear and fire scorpion charm. Ritual sword talisman too.

Ehh it’ll still do decent damage but you’d be losing around 23% damage from those 2 items.

It's ok... unfortunately, most of the really great builds require items/equipment from areas that are typically considered more end-game locations. That being said, many of the incantations are available early on, and with the open-world aspect, it's easy to zip around and pick up what you need, including the smithing stones/somber smithing stones for upgrades. I feel like most of the really good builds fall into this category unless you're supplementing say a STR build with some FAI and using a seal for damage and damage negation buffs.

It’s faith so there’s a few but it depends on your talisman setup. Blasphemous blade. Claws with electrify armament are really good too.

@@nickfirdaus499 if you're setting this up essentially a FAI-only build (which totally works), then the Coded Sword is a good option (it's also Holy elemental, so it's a decent option for enemies that are resistant to lightning). I suppose SoNaF might work as well, but you'll lose a ton of damage scaling, and the R1 special won't do anything (due to low INT), meaning you're just going to be using the R2 special (and since that's a fire attack, you're not getting a buff on that one).

I usually pick bandit or samurai just to farm the big dragon in Caelid early on easily. 🤘

@@1937Brett make sure you have 80 faith & gravel stone seal. Or 80 Faith/INT & golden order seal. Same talismans & buffs as well as the jellyfish shield or a 2nd gravel stone seal. ADLS has a fair bit of RNG & also takes a minute to get used to. You want to be close to bosses, but not too close. Fully charge it too.

ADLS is basically comet Azur for faith builds, so of course it’s logical to use it. Especially on NG+7.
