This video showcases a guide to pvp for solo pvp and solo ganking in the red zone in albion online. It's a beginners guide for pvp, and beginners guide for ganking as well as for veterans in albion online.
*NOTE*: Many clips used from the very first couple days of Asia server release. No, I usually don't like bullying T2/T3 players but that loot was valuable back then xD.

My best kill was in a black zone t5, the guy went down to some mobs and I happened to pass him right as he was Downed so I snagged the kill, guy had 20m gear on him from what looked like he was testing gear. His clan was mad they kept after me every day for a week anytime one of them saw me they would all show up and chase me down, I was only sporting 4.1 cheap gear and a horse or stag usually

Yeah but solo gankers are the different from ppl who just blockade every rz to carleon. Which will just depend on ur luck.

entering a solo dungeon resetting the counter is so confusing because there has been plenty of times where the dungeon disappears shortly after i entered it and exited it

nice video ! invis ganking is my favorite thing to do in rz .after i saw your guide i see we have the same mind set. im NotPirate and im so happy im in this video killing you what an honor :) (some more tips i can add is that when u take off your ui the nameplate doesnt appear also so its not so good as u say.also also when i kill someone and i got big loot on me but i need a lot of time to deflag i usually go in a solo dungeon and lock it . then u wait for as long as u like in there safe till u deflag and return to town safe.for any bow use the poison Q its so much better cuz it doesnt stop u from moving unlike the other Qs and also u keep them in combat even after they take some distance from you ) keep the good content!

Man. I have been a solo ganker on and off for years, even before free to play. I have about 700 kills across my record. This guide is extremely articulate of the strategy and mindset you need to cultivate in order to succeed. These days red zone solo ganking should only be done for fun. There’s just no good money in it. But if you can pull it off then that means you’ve got great game sense. Red zone ganking is a lost artform. I remember when red zone ganking was so rampant that there was a guild called “The Caerleon police” who would rove in a group of 20 looking for reds to kill. Some of my moments where I was getting chased by do-gooder blue named players and dashing past the guards to get into town, run past everyone - some fond memories of mine from this game.

The only time I ever flagged red I stood on a yellow zone road attacking transports. I ended up being camped by a group of blueberries keeping me perma knocked. I look forward to trying red zone gathering ganks

As a Carleon gatherer, Why people who I i know are from Carleon try to gank us? You're just raising the cost of your own gears. Gank in regions of opposing factions, don't break economy of your own city.

I just use wanderlust on soldier boots and run at people, no invis, and I can usually hit 'em before they realize what's happening.

@@lunoblanco5695 Depends on what build you run. But in most cases I find the long cooldown on wanderlust is very risky in red zones, especially if you've already used it to chase your target. I prefer boots with refreshing sprint or Hunter Shoes with rush.

Transports are near impossible to dismount gank even if I had 3 guys in my party, it seems they either have tons of armor or a super slippery escape set.😭

This shows me better how to avoid solo gankers, against group gankers best option is to look worthless and not worth their while, There is not much you can do to survive, just run to a safe point.

As of around January 1, 2024 invis ganking is not as usable. The assassin jacket has a .2 delay before it works meaning you de-stealth from invis pot before going invis again

this is great , i know this is a very time consuming thing to put together but can you really do such a guide on group gankin? we are 5-7 friends but cant dismount 1 guy , like we are all in line runnşng together but when we get ganked people are very good at going across map to cover everywhere etc. like how to get info, how to direct someone, where to dismount etc the maps, how to escape as well cusz when we are successful at red zone ganking, suddenly 50 blue spawns out of nowhere and we cant get the loot out safely.

You can gank certain transport mounts. Frost ram, gallant horse (tough), spectral boar, other boars. You won't be dismounting bears or mammy's lol but still some.

After getting ganked 3x in a row when transporting to BM, maybe its a sign i should become a ganker too The problem is as a solo and im not that experienced in ganking, i look like a fucking idiot roaming around in RZ hardflagged with ganking set lol, most of the time i found other experienced gankers group, it just feels like im embarassing myself lmao

Aside from a bit of fun i dont know why people bother. It would be profitable if people didnt get ganked every 30 seconds. Id be suprised if you can make 200k an hour in most red zones.

Bow is not good to Solo Gank. Look at vídeo, you need a lot time to kill someone... bow don't have a "good" dmg and no mobility to follow or escape of gank.

i beg to differ but that doesnt mean i dont understand what youre saying. Albion is first and foremost a competitive PVP game not casual , but this video is teaching those who just want to ruin people's experiences even better at ruining them, now dont forget i do agree that albion is a competitive PVP game. So what i think is the best solution to both our problems is for me to just stop playing.

@@Gruff_rift The riskier gathering is the higher it pays; that's the nature of albion's economy. Think about ganking like temporarily ruining one gatherer's game to improve the next guy's. I'd rather gathering be engaging, adrenaline pumping, and take some skill to avoid gankers for a bigger reward than the alternative which is to left click on a rock and watch the bar go up--even if it means losing somtimes.
