I read this as a teenager a long time ago. I only read it back then but it all came back to me pretty quickly in this video. I think I would understand the themes better now with the context of understanding the time period and religion better now. I recommend "Will Eisner: A Dreamer's Life in Comics" for a biography on Eisner, the man had wisdom and hustle.

Without exaggeration I could spend months, everyday, showcasing Will Eisner. I try to space out titles, characters or creators just for variety sake. So, believe me, I will be coming back to Eisner. I really have to do the Spirit next.
