What a great story. I met him once in Australia at Campbelltown of all places. I was teaching Judo at the Police Boys club and he was there with a British Kyokushinkai team training. As a former student of Kyokushinkai I went over. I always thought he was bigger in his photos but a very nice man who took the time to speak to me as I gushed about my training in Kyokushin. Osu. Much respect Hanshi.

God bless his humble and benevolent heart. A true testimony, to the greatness that one can achieve, through respect, obedience, diligence and perseverance. People such as Hanshi Steve Arneil, the late Shihan Boby Lowe, as well as the late Sosai Masutatsu Oyama, are the ones that inspired me on my Kyokushin Karate endeavour! I wish him and all the great Kyokushin Karate masters, all the best, now and always, Osu!
