Is he a really a good person? This dude was out there getting women pregnant and creeping with dudes. That's not good, that's a coward. Those women deserved to know the truth prior to him sleeping with them, so they could have made their own decisions.

What misery? He's making ish up. Like many men, He doesn't want to say he's gaaay so he uses code words like "fluid". Then he says he has a girl and is monogamous. Then why is he with all these men????? Tired of people ignoring facts because we're supposed to support LGBTQ without questions asked.
@Jstomper14
@Jstomper14 2 жыл бұрын
@@PardonMyPresence You're missing the point. I'm assuming you're a grown person. Why does anything he does in his private life bother you? If he doesn't want to say he's gay that's his business. I'm sure you wouldn't want people you don't even know taking an interest in your love life. I only watched the first 5 minutes of this video and realized how dumb it is that he even has to explain himself in an interview, I then stopped watching. What he does in his private life doesn't make his music any less enjoyable.
@PardonMyPresence
@PardonMyPresence 2 жыл бұрын
@@Jstomper14 no you missed the point the reason why the LGBTQ movement thrives is because what they do in their private lives MUST remain public in order to force people to openly accept it or get chastised. No one asked Tyler. No one asked Nas x. They willingly came out to solidify their standing in a movement and reaped the benefits.
@Jstomper14

@@PardonMyPresence Zay is only here having this interview because someone violated his privacy and leaked a sextape of him with another man. I don't think it is the same as him putting his sexuality out there. He clearly had no intention of putting that info out there, all his songs referenced him having relations with women. He's just a man going thru shit. It might not be a struggle you or I have but we don't live his life so it's not necessary to judge him for it.

I love how the personalities are talking about a topic that both express a degree of uncertainty about how to explain/ how to understand, and that no personal attacks are coming through. Joe represents a large majority of folks who are just learning about differences in sexuality and he’s allowing his curiosity to lead him in his conversation with Isaiah. I’m taking notes 📝 Isaiah is deep in his vulnerability. He comes off as certain of this truth, yet he feels uncertain about the language to express this truth. This is relatable for many who have ever dealt with redirecting their life (be it in business, spirituality, style of dress, life purpose, etc). People will scrutinize every move you make when you step out of the category they have for you. And Isiah is doing this with grace. Again, I’m taking notes 📝 This conversation, these types of conversations between these types of cultural figures is laying the foundation for transformative thinking within the black community. I’m grateful to witness this.

Beautiful bruv. I came back to this cuz I just saw Isaiah in Cincinnati for his 10th anniversary tour of cilvia demo and it just reminded me how strong his fan base his. Like the show was sold out everyone knew every single word and it was such a nice crowd. That’s the type of fan base zay built over time this shit he went through didn’t change his music for us he still the same dude. And it was just proven in real time last week when I went to the show. You can feel the difference of an arena show with “big dawgs” and a show at a normal venue that sells out of pure fans. Mad difference.

Solid interview, I'm glad Isaiah felt comfortable talking with Joe; that says a lot especially regarding the current conversation about platforms based in hip-hop. This interview really speaks volumes as to why he was moving the way he was in the conversation with MATH with respect to hip hop platforms and if they are really safe for everyone in hip-hop. Everything isn't personal...the point he was making back then was that your platforms are not just about you. So how are you gonna be for the culture when you can't even look past your own ignorance about something you may or may not agree with? No matter how you feel, if you're "for the culture" you gotta check your ignorance and quit making it the point of the conversation (and yes, there are many times he needs to take his own advice on his own pod smh). My second and bigger point is that I especially appreciate how Joe took on a mentoring role with Zay over the course of the interview and helping him get his mind right. Regardless of how you feel about him, it's good to see his generation (Wallo and nem, etc.) realizing they are the OGs now and reaching back to teach and mentor -- at least getting in front of these youngins

So glad to see Zay havin the gut to be himself, my guy is a life changer.. As a fan I was a bit shocked when I saw the leaked tape but honestly, it really didn't bother me a bit because Zay has been there for me mostly at my lowest as my psychologist. shout out to the GOAT.

And Zay was able to show that not everyone who is gay bi pansexual whatever has all the answers either. When he said "I don't even know what that is" that was like yo not everybody has the talking points all down like the people prepped for the news

"Skilled" my ass. JB had that man sitting there having to damn near defend his sexuality. JB does not have the range for these types of deep nuanced discussions. Or for any discussion really.
