- Cast: Kim Yong-rim, Yeon Joon-seok, Park Hyun-jung, Yoon Yoo-sun
- Dongha is a 17-year-old who gets bullied in school and whose grades are low. He feels even lonelier that his mother doesn’t know he is allergic to cucumbers. He gets in trouble and is forced to do volunteer work at a Welfare Center.
Yeongae is 71 years old and has lzheimer’s. She is lonely because her son leeft her and wants to escape to a nursing home. She pretends to have Alzheimer’s and everyone falls for her.
She meets Dongha on the roof and both lonely people care for each other. She has a chance to go to a nursing home, but will she really go or will she change her mind?

I bawled my eyes out while watching this. This drama special is just full of lessons. And I love the friendship between the granny and the boy. Sometimes there are moments in our life when we just want to die. This drama special taught me how beautiful and painful life can be. To anyone reading this, hold on tight because good days will come. And treasure yourself ans your life because you're special the way *you* are

35:45 the kid was so happy to see the granny . Omg his smile melting my heart . Both were sad , the boy felt sad for his mom ignorance and the granny felt guilty for being ignorant towards her son

I felt sad for them both. Yet I was very happy when the grandmother was really ok and the young man found what he needed to help him to deal with his own inner problems. It is sad the grandmother had to deal with a guilt that nearly drove her crazy. A biological son who was unforgiving. I was happy the young man could fill the void in her life, and she could help his void also. The mother of the son seemed to feel a sense of guilt at the last or it seemed that way. Great movie. Made me cry. Thanks, KBS for many movies that deal with good morals.

IMO an absolute mas-ter-pie-ce... Meaningful, humane, multi-faceted, rendering and evoking emotions, positive, well-structured, complete... The acting, filming, plot and development of both the story and the characters are brilliant. I do a lot of crying watching KBS's many marvelous drama specials, but at 1:03:02-1:03:25 of this episode I sobbed (and do so every time I watch that scene). The very last moments are utterly delightful to watch, what a beautiful and happy ending. I whole-heartedly thank and wish all the best to every single person who has been involved in this production. May God bless you always...

IAM so moved both characters are so real ,so many people l have seen,who deal with his lonely Ness by there own way .if two looner meet may be ,why not they changed their mind set.remember the last line... lets moved to the corner then you see this big beautiful world. Hatts off for the makers ,story writer, artists and all others who involved in such a wonderful movie.lam loving it

❤❤❤❤😢😮again what a beautiful story line of humanity, we become a society of disposable people,greed and selfishness has taken over,our young and elder are left to raise themselves, young adults don't wasnt to make time and the middle age is to tire and doesn't want to be bothered 😢society has put us against each other. So this was a good story line and new cast and crew members who had decent acting skills and good chemistry with a message that it only takes one to stop and listen, hold a hand tight eat a meal togetherand be a friend. My rating is a A ❤😊thanks

Joon Jun Seok adolescent acting is so admirable even in the drama Shark with Son Ye Jin and Kim Nam Gil where he played the young Yi Soo. Joon Jun Seok acting will go far. Looking forward to see more drama from you.

it's a wonderful story and I really liked it..just at the end after this granny fell at her home was very quick and hush..it could use some more time to tell in the same tempo as the whole movie-story went..now it felt a bit like a running end..because now the ending felt more like a punishment and it could have been also more in harmony

I like inter generational movies, so sweet, always get me a little teary but then you have the Korean drama twist that makes you want to yell out “curse you Korean drama!!!!” Why why why ruin a happy story! Thanks for the posting.
