Ever want Static Grass Bases for your Warhammer Miniatures that doesn’t involve sticking a dozen static grass tufts to the base? This guide will show you how to get those sweeping fields of grasslands, savannahs, and prairies so your model basing doesn’t look like your typical dirt and a few shrubs. Most battlefields honestly don’t look like clean grass fields, but for fantasy miniatures like Age of Sigmar or Conquest, they work amazing. You can just do it for your other scifi game models like Warhammer 40k, kill team, gates of Antares, and more. Even Marvel Crisis Protocol if you like really custom bases.
The whole point of the tutorial is just to show how easy it is with grass applicators. A lot of the guides for static grass applicators I found online don’t really involve Tabletop Miniatures so I thought I’d fix that. Combined with my two reviews of the RTS Greenkeeper 55kV and the WWScenic Pro Grass box, my how to guide shows you how to easily make these wild grass bases. All you’d need after getting at least one of these applicators is whatever static grass colors you’d like!
A great way to up your basing game with new techniques and possibilities and help accent your minipainting. I always felt basing is as important as miniature painting itself but I try not to go too overboard on one model when my personal goal is to make an entire army gain a sort of visual design through juxtaposition. A rather simple way to inch my modelmaking possibilities forward for future hobby projects!
Crass Course: Ever want to quickly learn a few things about a topic but don’t have the time to sit through long videos? Enter Crass Course. As the name implies, it’s a collection of short tutorial videos focusing on a certain topic, whether they are hobby related or video game simulation based construction. I’ll impart the knowledge I know on the topic in a somewhat roundabout way, kinda like you asked the cool guy at the store how to do something that he does frequently. As the name implies, it's complete with completely unnecessary humor and inserts to make a blend of informative and entertainment.
