SYNOPSIS:
"A DATE" is a compelling narrative that unfolds the profound impact of an unexpected friendship between two strangers, Monisha and Karthik, who are initially separated by culture, tradition, and language. Their paths, seemingly destined to never cross, are brought together by fate itself, setting them on an unforgettable journey that alters the course of their lives in a single day.
Monisha, hailing from Delhi and haunted by the betrayal of her past love, struggles to break free from its grip. She crosses paths with Karthik, a spirited traveler from South India with an innate passion for exploration and a zest for life.
Though they initially clash and contemplate parting ways, an inexplicable force keeps them connected. Monisha is gradually drawn to Karthik's infectious love for travel, captivated by his open-mindedness towards people and their cultures. Through their shared experiences, Karthik exposes Monisha to a whole new world she had never known, rekindling her lost passions for photography and freedom.
However, when the shadows of her past resurface, Karthik becomes her shield, protecting her from the misery she longs to escape. The tale is not merely a love story but a profound exploration of love, betrayal, and the significance of an unexpected friendship that can mend even the deepest wounds.

It just come randomly on my screen and then I just started to watch it and surprisingly I got attached and connect to it. It's just awesome and very heart touching and it has all the emotions and that every stuff one movie need to be called a perfect. I don't know whether this comment really matters but I feel i should write and this is the first time I comment on any thing i really dont care, But Vimalraj Ji you are just awesome and really care about the LOVE, EMOTIONS and RESPECT one should give to someone who really cares you. Hats off to the director.... so sensibly, subtly he has dealt the topic. India needs these kind of directors.. karthik character was very strong. Beautifully portrayed the emotions of a girl. 6 out of 5 ratings... :)

Wow😍 what a great film. Initially I thought it would be boring to watch for 1:30 hrs. But once I started watching it, I couldn't take my eyes off. I didn't miss even a single frame. Every emotion is so relatable to most of us. Love, breakup, clinging to the ex, and struggling to move on are the phases that almost everyone goes through in some part of their lives. But meeting a guy like karthik is so lucky and only a few girls are fortunate enough to get such guy in their lives. Besides actors have done an amazing job and put their best. Few lines and emotions really touched my heart. Especially when karthik laughs at her story, she comes and slaps him and says who am I sharing all these with! So true emotion. Hats off to the director and Kudos to the team.

I usually don’t write comments and I had just 10 minutes to watch something in the KZfaq. I actually skipped this by seeing the length of the movie. After started, I didn’t know how one and half hour was completed. Very well presented from the beginning to end. Kudos to the entire team. The first sign of true love is treating your loved one with utmost respect.

I didn't have the intention to watch this movie completely. bt I was addicted by keep watching every minute. because this movie is so related to me. I was in the same situation that Monisha faced. when it comes to Karthik I was reminded of my beloved partner..he came into my life when I suffered due lousy relationship. I was depressed by losing him . even though he left me my partner came into my life full of loyalty respect and unconditional love. so those who are reading this comment I'm telling you do n to regret losing someone who doesn't love to you. if someone wants to go out of your life let them go. After that Spring will come to you forever......

If they mean to stay with, they will , no matter what. Love is all about respect and value each other. Understanding and stay together. Nice Movie... the characters and storyline would be relatable to many... Just something which I feel people should know is that not everytime you are going to get that blessing of having somebody to fix you, a shoulder to cry on, when you feel stuck. It would be you who would have to make a decision to come out of it. Have that courage, find that strength within you, let go of people who hurt you, who did you wrong, don't cling onto them. This is an excellent film.a bit slow at times could have been like malayalam fim bangalore times. The film reminds me of nagarkars hyderabad blues. Director vimalraj is really talented and the actors are good.dialogues could have been tighther. The best thing its in english.hope vimalraj can make more ambitious films and show it in theatres which are crying for relevant, relatable films with new content for our young generation. See how fahad fasils films have found new sensitive audiences.

I lived in Bengaluru for almost 9 years and I moved out year before last. This movie is taking me back to all those memories. Awwww... I miss you namma bengaluru.... Btw smoking is banned in public places in Bengaluru why is he smoking in public 🤕🤕🤕 plus people who are asthmatic like me may get asthama attacks because of someone like that.. therefore, I request smokers to please not smoke in public.. thank you in advance. 💜

Wow!! Can't express my feelings after watching each and every second and bits and pieces. I'm totally blank. Thanks for making such an inspiring masterpiece. I just randomly found this movie. Amazing, simply and Great movie. . Both acted nicely. Worth spending time. Her expression is cute. She is keep on criticizing south Indian. This kind of girls finally settled in south India only, even in real life. Well done! Monisha and Karthick 👏great team work. Worth watching. Many more has to come. Best wishes director sir

Very Practical story. Explains clearly that false love doesn't stay long and true one will always take some time to come closer to you forever. The two characters have beautifully done their role. Direction, screenplay, narration are all seems to be perfect. We couldn't say a single scene where things went wrong. Very good short-film. True love doesn't occur the first sight itself but clearly shows when there is a short separation.

This is my best short story i have ever seen in my life. The chemistry between girl and boy was really amazing and their controversy about language, culture and so on really give me so fun and i have seen this short story many times. Whenever i come to this Platform i see this at least one time and i enjoy most.I want to appreciate to this stories director who implemented this with a great effort.

When i start to watch this i was not sure if i would watch this movie completely as it is one and a half hour long film.i normally donot watch movies on youtube that too short films naah. So i started watching this film with 1.5x speed but i changed it to a normal pace within 5min of watching this masterpiece and i could not stop mysfelf from watching this film completely.thanks for breaking the sterotypes

Oh man..... What a beautiful story...... i felt like I was just watching a movie... I didn't turn off my eyes on each frame which passes... Such a wonderful Creation... It's really an epic.... Both actors deserved for the best..... It's a Hollywood type picturization.... Soft and cool... Liked it .. it would be good if it's 2 hours.... I felt it ended so early..... What a romance.... No words.... You just made it epic..

Namma Bengaluru. The city gave me so many wonderful memories. The city taught me a lot in both professional and personal life. Both didn't work out in a nice manner but it has taught me to struggle and fight back. I miss the city. One of the best movie I have ever seen. Apart from this love the message of respect other's culture, language, an individual person and the lesson of life has thrilled me.
