I always love that merry-go-round at Bushkill Park it was one of the kind

I remember being on that Gemini ride when I was about 6 or 7 with my dad. It was near closing time and there was noone really at the park. The ride seemed to be going longer than usual when my dad realized the ride operator had fallen asleep at the controls. I remember my dad throwing his shoes at the guy and yelling to wake him up. Finally, soemone noticed what was going on and woke the guy up. My dad wanted to choke the guy because we were both sick from the spinning cart. Memories!

That was my favorite ride - the Gemini 9. I can still remember hearing the cage door clank shut and then gripping the side of the well worn discin the center of the cage. Pulling hard, the cage started to turn ever so slowly. As you built up speed, the momentum helped and it got easier. Faster and faster you'd go, till eventually the disc was spinning so fast, you couldn't get a long enough grip to go any faster. Of course, the disc was stationary and it was the the cage that was spinning.

The park is in the process of reopening! They currently have half a dozen rides back open and are working on getting more!

I remember that ride that starts around 1:10 because i remember when i was about 14 i went on it with my "boyfriend" and my little brother ...and my little brother got SICK on it *L*
