My name is Marichka and I am a Ukrainian Flex exchange student in the US. I want to share a little bit of my life with you and take you with me on the day in my American High School and the first American Foolball game of the season. I would hate to have a circle lunch table at my school. Like imagine trying to sit somewhere by yourself you would just be in peoples conversations and friend groups.

I want to know what high school this is with this kind of crazy class schedule! lol This was definitely NOT my high school. In any given year we had math, literature/writing, history, science, foreign language, liberal arts, and one personal growth class. My senior year schedule was physics, great novels/writing and grammar, 4th year Latin, state history, economics, calculus, study period then theater. Pottery, show choir, theater, journalism and business? Our newspaper, our yearbook, our extra curricular activities were actually “extra”, not part of our school day. This does look fun though. Not much education, but fun. Maybe a special schedule tailored for an exchange student?

I am from Ukraine and this is my 2nd year as an exchange student because I couldn’t go home after first for obvious reasons. I graduated last year so this is my gap year, and yes, I have only fun classes :)
