Hey! that's beautiful video. I studied at Leeds University as well. Just graduated with a master's degree. I also started making vlogs while being a student here. Hope we can connect and I would wish to see more vlogs from you. Hope you're doing well🥰

Hi Tayas, Ritam here from India. Can we connect somewhere in some messaging platform? I am about to visit Uni of Leeds for conference but really very nervous about the journey since I have not been outside the country.

Leeds is just terrible. Racism, maltreatment of international students is common. Just stay in London, people are much nicer and more diverse.

really? did you experience those yourself? Im thinking of applying here.

@@zubiaq not really, leeds is diverse and lovely! yorkshire culture is known for being friendly and hospitable. that being said its easy to only hang out with people from your own culture - since you obviously have much more in common and understand each other better. just make the effort to understand cultural differences and you'll be fine, i have friends from diverse backgrounds. and about racism, i havent experienced anything blatant from the people here but internalised racism exists all across the uk.
