You seem so shy and humble. Someone who fufils every role in his life perfectly. I have never appreciated healthcare workers as much as i do now. So many who become social media famous and can quit but money was never their goal. Enriching lives and the desire to help is what keeps people like you in the medical field. Hope you get the sucess you deserve on social media and continue to be the brilliant surgeon you are. I love your shorts.

I had a eight hour surgery. I'm still alive. Many years later. I give thanks to my team. I was in ICU after surgery. I heard nurse say you shaved your beard for her? I gave him words of wisdom and I lived and he listen. I know I made his Neuro surgery a success because he listened to me! I watch this because it allowed me live a full life .❤️

I'm in awe of your speciality....ive had L4 and L5 rupture 4 times...im determined Not to fuse.. but time'll tell....my surgeon's gifted in surgery but has 0 bedside manner... TBH I'd rather hv the talent in the OR but relating to a patient Counts too ♥
@suewilson3553 Жыл бұрын
Sometimes I think we don't realize what it takes to be one of these individuals. They are not your party boys your Good Time Charlie's your class clowns. They're way above average intelligence and are probably consider geniuses... So therefore their personality types are totally different. They are not there to entertain you they are there to surgically and medically make you well. So I probably have had 18 surgeries in my lifetime. Believe you me you want someone who can do the job and do it correctly. Because down the road of life what they did in the OR is going to matter a whole lot more then how many jokes they told you.
@jenshark49 ай бұрын
@@suewilson3553 I agree with you that neurosurgeons are highly skilled highly intelligent people on this planet. However, being that smart, they can build in some nice bedside gestures for their patients. It will go along way for them in their career. Especially when their patients tell their friends and family, what a great surgeon they have. All it takes is for the Nuro surgeon to build in some nice words as part of their routine. Or give a smile once in a while. It’s not that hard. They’re geniuses right!

I really enjoy the educational/informative aspect of your content. It’s a refreshing blend to a stressful career. To share a personal bit, I have a meningioma. It was found about 16 years ago now. About a year ago my whole body was crashing and the radial pain I was experiencing was unnerving as I was fearful the tumor was effecting a nerve causing dysautonomic disruptions. I saw a Neurosurgeon who, like yourself, was what I call the perfect example of what the true Art of Medicine looks like. He was kind and compassionate. He truly listened to me with respect and because he had both the patience and intelligence he was able to be part of handing me my life back in some manner by identifying that I was describing peripheral nerve issues and pointed me to a neurophysiologist. Turns out he identified I actually was born with a small stomach so it’s my enteric nervous system tripping off the others. Thanks to a calm and ethical Neurosurgeon, I am a patient who enjoys advocating on behalf of the good and thus importance of appreciating the actual Art of Medicine. That’s my kudos to keeping ethics alive and well through all your complex and often compounded work as respectable Surgeons!! 😊 A+++ for your display of that through the content you share.
