This is the PERFECT video for me because in January of 2024, I will start working on my social media presence to hopefully, eventually monetize and help me get through graduate school.

The mom guilt thing is so relatable. My youngest of 4 is in preschool 4 full days a week while I do grad school and I love it so much. So different from my oldest 3 who are in public school now. I loved the stay at home mom era too, but my energy just pulled me from feeling excited about frequent outings with the kids or just spending all day with them to feeling more excited to just work on a certification, do creative things with my current business, and now work on grad school. This day seems lovely. Congrats Marie!

So fun! Love your channel! I share it with my fellow grad school classmates. Your content is AWESOME. What a great day! I'm planning to create a content channel after I get out of grad school. I have been a coach for decades and am switching to counseling late in life! 😀 I have published two books and am just finishing a third, SO, have a lot to say 😬 about self-care , self love and culture which is/will be my specialty. Does your Private Practice bundle on sale right now contain the how to on how to start a YT channel? Does it include a list of all your gear somewhere? And how to edit video or how did you learn that? Thanks! 🙏🏻 PS I would never get up that early, haha--I like to start at 9 and end the day at midnight 😆

I’ve been looking forever for a past video of yours where you walk us through how you go about editing your videos as well as the program you use. Can you, or someone, link me to it or tel me exact title bc I’ve been looking FOREVER 😅

I remember the days of having little ones. I’m glad you have such a great balance of being with them and keeping one foot in the door with your practice and content creation! ❤

I relate to the days of mom guilt (even though my kids are grown now!) but you are rocking it, Marie! I'm glad younger therapists can watch this and realize that life as a therapist does not mean being burned out or over-worked. :)

Thanks Marie, i was so inspired by this video. My private practice is currently really successful, but I always feel so frantic and busy. I'm also a very sensitive person, and your video has reminded me how much I need to change my style of working to meet my highly sensitive needs!

I am just beginning to consider a new career in holistic nutrition and have enjoyed your videos very much. My first career was a homeschooling mom. My second career was/is a preschool teacher. That said, as a preschool teacher, I much prefer having my kids every day. The consistency makes a huge difference for the entire class. Drop the mom guilt! You are still the most influential person in their lives and always will be. Thanks for all you do.

14:30 thanks Marie for your authenticity 😊that’s so refreshing. Also clearly you have such a strong work ethic - how do you manage to stay to motivated and disciplined as a freelancer where there is no outside pressure of a system/ team/ manager?

I don't know where to post this question, so I decided to ask on your latest video comments 😮 Is it my imagination, or did you have a video on how you choose to keep a paper record/charts? I can't find it! Thank you Marie!

@privatepracticeskills how do you ethically separate clients from the content you make? Do they know you are a content creator? Do viewers ever want to be clients? Do you have a video already outlining this??
