Hello! I appreciate the content. I'm doing my internship at the moment and I am planning on applying to germany for residency so I started learning The language. Do you ever encounter situations where you don't understand what's being discussed in the morning meeting or questions directed at you by the attending? I feel like it would be a big hit to one's confidence if this happens. And how do you deal with a patient if he has a rough accent?

Hi, I've had moments where I did not fully understand a discussion, especially at the beginning of medical practice, but with time, it gets better. Being patient and asking people to repeat their sentences if necessary has played an enormous role in my communication with individuals with strong accents.
