I just had a question, if i'm a new student in UK and i don't have any fellow Indian friends, it's ought to be lonely. Is there any app/website where people from same countries can meet up with each other? Maybe even become roommates, as having indian roommates will be more comfortable!

Currently in London, the part time salary is around £10.50/hour

Well well well!! Finally I found a video which is exactly the same life I went through when I went to London for studies.. it's all same when the life starts in UK for International students specially Indians. Spent 5 years in there so please ask if you need any help in London will try and help possibly if I can. Btw I am back to pune now.. cheers!!

@@adii18s Hi Aditya, It all depends upon which city you choose to live, London is most expensive of all, cost of living per month: £450-500 as rent, £150 for travel, £60-80 for grocery etc if you are cooking, £40- 50 for phone recharge,electricity is pay as you go so it all depends how much you use it like heater and all, generally internet is free with the accommodation so this basic expense adds up to approx £800 pm per person(average accommodation in private). If you live outside uk than you can save almost 30 to 40 percent of the above in rent,travel and rest all remains the same. accomodation depends upon how you want it like they have university accomodation(most expensive), take private house on rent sharing with other students to bring down expenses, or PG option is also available with food which is not that expensive.
