I'm really enjoying the content of Mishmash and have been following it for a few years. I'm a dark roast chocolate coffee kinda gal all the way. Must be my German heritage coming through 😊

I think a lot of people enjoy fruitier and brighter coffee because they taste less like coffee (especially when they add a gallon of sugar 😂) but I am not one of them. I have awful acid reflux and have to really limit anything tart. I absolutely love a strong, dark roast, preferably Sumatra (which is known to be one of the lower acid ones coincidentally). Same things goes for wine. I really can’t drink it at all anymore, but when I was, the white wines were just too much. Generally, the darker the red, the better. It’s very hard to find, but blends heavy on petit Verdot were my fav.

The cardigan is gorgeous. Have you ever tried the air wrap’s smoothing tool for the wayward morning hair? There is a knack to it but it’s quick and easy once you get it xx feel free to ignore this advice xx

Here comes my first comment this MISHMAS 2023❤ one of the highlights of my day is MISHMAS ,You’ve become a holliday tradition 🤶🏻🎄 Here in Northern Norway it is snow,dark and Northern lights . Could your water be to hot for the brewing process. Perhaps try using water not to hot to allow the grounds to bloom or is it blossom….I think you get it😊

Oh I’m with you on the coffee choices! Tangy coffee makes me feel nauseous to the extent that many times I can’t finish it. I bought a bean to cup coffee machine in the summer and I’m still trying to find a bean I like which doesn’t have ‘The Tang’!

I'm vicariously drinking coffee with you Michele! My doctor told me to stop drinking coffee as it was making my heart go pitter pat weirdly and it doesn't agree with my tummy. But I WANT coffee! *cries* LOL. I'm being dramatic. It's the middle of my work day but I'm taking lunch to watch MISHMAS!!! 🎄

re: sore throat...gargle with salted water ..morning , night, whenever ...1/2 tsp salt in 8 oz warm water..to ease pain and inflammation , reduces harmful bacteria in your mouth . Hope you feel better soon , my mom who was a nurse swore by this

I’m normally a Turkish-style coffee drinker, but I enjoy sour Americanos / Espressos. I realize most cheap quality coffees taste sour and I love that. I don’t know what that says about me. 🤣
