It is funny how the groom went to lead the horse into the barn and looked confused when Georgina did it. He obviously forgot about the cameras 😆

Kyra no doubt. It’s upsetting because us small time riders who could be just as good with the same horses and trainers will only ever go on to show in small Grand Prix on lesson horses. Congrats to her though, I’m sure she’s worked hard.

I think she is lovely, and you can tell she cares about the horses, even if she doesn't always have time to care for them personally- I also thought that was kind of crappy, but my riding instructor is a former Grand Prix level dressage rider and eventer, and she explained that, especially at shows, you just don't have time most of the time. I am sure when she trains and schools she is a little more hands on- having a real equestrian as an instructor has dispelled many of my misconceptions, like my dislike of crops and spurs- when used humanely, these are aids just like your legs and hands, some horses don't respond to certain aids and others will, it all depends on the horse, the situation, and the skill level of the rider... Anyway, I think she is a lovely, LUCKY girl who knows she has every advantage and doesn't seem to take it for granted, and she gives back as much as she can- I think every one is too jealous to remember her with the pig...😜 If you happend to be that blessed, you wouldn't want people hating you for that fact, I know I wouldn't... It might not be fair in the grand scheme of things, but she didn't make the rules, she was just born lucky...

It bugs me so much that elite riders rarely groom and tack their own horses. I get that they need to focus on their riding, but you end up just being a slave driver to the horse. Think about it- a person just comes, hops on my back, makes me work, and leaves. Would you truly respect someone who treated you like that? It's like raising kids. You can't just come play with them and have fun, and then leave when they actually needed to be taken care of. The horse doesn't care how talented the rider is if all they do is make them run around and jump. At shows, the grooms fully take care of and tack my horses just for times sake, but I like to tack them up myself as much as possible at home.

Lovely that you have money and it helps you take the every day burden away from you but you are totally detached from reality it’s incredible. Your child obviously has a nanny and you seem to have about 4 grooms. The art of horsemanship is not how fast and how high you can jump,but how you bond with your horse. You have much to learn about many things in life. I wish you well and send you the strength to realise these things.

She is my absolute inspiration. I may not be as rich as her, but I too want to be like her. Have a nice beautiful life with horses. I have drawn a picture of her and one of the mares she rode at a show named Lilli, a buckskin horse. I don’t understand the hate. Georgina grew up wealthy. She’s the 11th richest person, and daughter of Michael Bloomberg, the former mayor of NY. That is not her fault that she had money. She clearly had also worked hard to get to where she is now. Like we all have. She’s a philanthropist, which is a great field. Not to mention she’s an equestrian. She must be so brave soaring through the oxers. She’s spent HOURS upon HOURS, many YEARS, training and falling, to get where she is now. In the end, we all share one thing. Our love for horses. She is a human too after all. She works all day and rides too. She loves what she does and loves her life. Instead of being jealous, we should be happy for her. She has people untack her horses and tack them because SHE IS BUSY. The day YOU people get a life and stop leaving such rude remarks is the day you’ll probably grow up. One day, you may be in her position. No need for all the hate. Georgina is absolutely talented and an amazing person. I wish to meet her one day!

@@emilywinfieldnovoa36 it's even sadder, because even the really rich are working hard , at the sport, not a sport for the lazy or weak minded. It's all your weekends, freezing rides, not being able to spend a lot of time in the barn, always travelling , eating stale peanut butter sandwiches between rides. Most fit people can only ride 1 or 2 horses a dsy. Riders at her level are working hard . I'm glad for the horses these rich people waste so much money on horses and the other jobs the stable provides. They usually will have a few poor horse lovers that get to work hard for free and learn to ride from top riders, still really hard work.

That’s their job. It’s not stupid it’s not dumb it’s just life. They probably get paid an insane amount of money for that job. And yes, many people don’t have that but boho you don’t have to hate on her bc she has more than you
@MK-rd9dd
@MK-rd9dd 5 жыл бұрын
That is standard immediately prior to entering a ring. Boots get dusty until you are actually up on the horse so the rider cannot easily do it themselves. Grooms get paid to do this stuff, if you think it is some sort of commentary on class division, you may be happier watching another sport.

I keep on reading comments on how rich this young lady is I dont envy her. But honestly I wouldn't change anything about the deep one on one relationship you get with your horse when your around them for a good part of everyday. The relationship you keep when you do your own grooming, stall cleaning, feeding, and the various other things. Its maybe cause I've never competed or showed just trail ride so I don't have that drive to got out and purchase the many things you would need for this top level.

Erin Kroef As a kid my parents said no way are we paying for horse lessons. Had they had the money and time perhaps they would have. Many good riders can't afford their own horse. Anywho, sure some riders are better than others and she is a good one but there is no denying money helps get you up the ladder with excellent trainers and horses.
