Do you have to put transitions in an introduction? Is that how it is taught in your district? Typically an introduction paragraph in 3rd might sound like this: My favorite super power is the ability to fly. It would be so fun to travel by flying. I would choose flying over other super powers because I could travel for free, I could get to places faster, and I could avoid car crashes. Usually transitions are used in the body paragraphs where I teach. I am very curious how others do it?

Have you tried using a Hershey Bar with your fractions? I had a teacher use this on me when I was a child and that was 26 years ago.

I enjoy watching all your teacher vlogs. I am a high school special Ed student and tomorrow I will be going on second semester and my scienc3 teacher is doing the same exact topic but high school special Ed level.

Hey we use the same math curriculum! :) Well I teach 4th. I don' have a Promethean I use a smart board, but is there any way you could make slides and click through them with pre-written responses? All my math lessons are made in slides and I just use a clicker and click through...use my pen when I need to, but since I got 30 kids management wise I like to walk around.

Did you try to unplug the board cord from the back of your computer tower?? Mine does that allllll the time and unplugging the board from the computer for a couple seconds usually fixes it

Hey, do you ever change the names on your math papers to match the kids in your class? It looks like you use Pearson Realize like we do at my school. SO FUN for my kiddos to notice that they are "in" the math problems. Just curious because you've never mentioned it, and you seem like such a fun teacher.

How do you make writing lessons engaging? I got sh*t on my supervisor when he observed my essay writing class (I teach ESL in Korea, so it's a little different, but I have to teach the same stuff you showed in this video) he said that it wasn't engaging and that everyone looked bored and over it. I can not figure out for the life of me how to make writing an essay more engaging.
