yo Isaiah im a 16 year old baseball player and I just tried out for a team and the coach pulled me and my brother into his office and said we don't have a spot for you guys. He said the reason was 1 we haven't played a game in a year, mind you we trained 3 4 times a week and sometimes when we didn't have anything scheduled for that whole year, we've been playing our positions for like 7 years btw, 2 He also said because my parents own a bar that im basically gonna get life handed to me why do you need baseball. He said that it had nothing to do with our skills or work ethic and that it was based purely on that. I just don't know if I should just quit or keep grinding or if it's too late. nice content btw loved it!!

Nah bro keep grinding i started playing baseball 2 mo ago im way behind but im grinding everyday to be able to play its crazy how people dont want to be great if u want to be GREAT GO AND GET IT

Don't give up. Don't give in. That's just 1 coach who is judging from what appears is not even a baseball standpoint. Play travel ball, or summer ball, or anywhere to get reps. There are plenty of places to play and coaches that will see the potential and want you to develop. If it was something based not even on ball, I wouldn't sweat it bro. Keep going, you're 16 and you've got time, keep having fun man!
